Ashley Pink Template Support Thread

Hello,

May I just say thank you for such a fantastic template, it was exactly what I was looking for and I am really happy with it.

This is my first time using zen cart so it has been many late late nights of trying to figure things out. I have managed to figure most things out but now I am really stuck and cannot find a solution......

I have finally redirected my domain from my old host to my new one and it went live today. My zen files have been moved to my public_html directory, and I have changed the configure.php files as mentioned to do, but when I go to my website all I get is the typed information. The template and all the images are missing.:oops:

Where could I have gone wrong? I thought I followed all the steps. my website is https://www.amagicalday.co.uk

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is now live and looks a mess, not the image I want to portray for too long.:cry:

You have something wrong in one or both of your configuration files (wrong path name, etc.) The only advice I can give you is to double check these files. If you can't find the error, install a fresh zen cart and copy the configuration files to your test cart.

I really like this Ashley Pink template.

I have come across with the search box and button which jumped below the header bar. Everything is good if customers order total costs under a 2 digits figures, but if they make order with total costs more than 3 digit figures, the search box and button is jumped below the header bar. is there a way i could fix this?

I was thinking of resize the header bar font then it could fix this problem, but because my store site is also selling wholesale and the total costs could go up to 4 digits. the search box and button will still jumped again.

What should i do. please help.

btw, if order is under $99.00 is ok. But if order is $100.00 to $1000.00 plus then the search box and button is jumped.

This bug was fixed in the latest version of the template. Find this in your stylesheet:

#navMain ul  {margin: 0;padding:  0.5em 0em;list-style-type: none;text-align: center;line-height: 1.5em;margin-left:25px;margin-top:0px;font-size:130%;}

And change it to:

#navMain ul  {margin: 0;padding:  0.5em 0em;list-style-type: none;text-align: center;line-height: 1.5em;margin-left:5px;margin-top:0px;font-size:130%;}

I am trying to install this template and it just isn't working for me. I have gone through your tutuorial 20 times. I must be missing something? I move the includes folder over using FileZilla the way you show it in your tutorial. I then go to my Zen Cart admin panel and the the template doesn't show up. It only shows the Classic Template. What am I doing wrong?

Ok I was finally able to upload the Ashley Pink template. Well at least part of it. The slide picture show isn't showing up, the right side headers are hanging off of the template and no links are showing up in my footer. Can someone please help me fix these things.

I have created an ez page to be able to do a gallery of items that my wife has made, but I am unable to make the link appear anywhere other than the footer links section. I would like to create a link beside the checkout link in the header section.

My EZ-Pages Display Status - HeaderBar is set to one and in tools, EZ pages settings header is enabled (green) and set to 80 for position but I am unable to get the link to show.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Go to the stylesheet.css file and find:

#navEZPagesTop {background-color: #fff;display:none;}

and take out the display:none;

The template is designed to look best with the header ezpages turned off so if you want this turned on you will need to add styles for the header ez page bar.

The top is in #cartContentsDisplay td and the bottom is #cartContentsDisplay. Change the border top and bottom to your color.
