Ashley Pink Template Support Thread

picaflor-azul:

I am not sure what you are editing but I can only see a background color when I go to the url you sent and it is added correctly.

Thanks,

Anne

I have got it working now Anne. I think it may have been an extra space in the code.:blush:

Anne provides details on how you need to update your admin layout settings to get the template to work correctly.. Re-review the install doc. Particularly the sections which provides you URLs to a screenprint of the admin layout settings. Double check your settings to make sure they match the ones in the screenprint..

B. In your Zen Cart admin:

Go to "Configuration" then "Layout Settings"

Copy the values from:

Re: Ashley Pink Template Support Thread

Hi! I am wondering how to utilize the wishlist option? I see there is a button for it but do not see any options for it in the admin control panel. Any help?

Also, Does anyone know how to have a special and not allow any other discount codes to be applied to it?

Thanks! Jessica

The template does not come with the wishlist module installed. I just provided a matching button so that it could be used if you install the module.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Ashley Pink Template Support Thread

Hi,

How can I remove the section highlighted below without messing up the slideshow?

Every time I edit it through the Admin Panel (as suggested) - it messes it up, and all I am left with is text that says Slide1, slide 2 etc. I keep having to go back and copy the original text from the template download in order to fix it.

I just want to get rid of it, without it messing up my slideshow.
Thanks.

You need to edit the page using the plain text editor instead of the WYSIWYG editor you are using..

Re: Ashley Pink Template Support Thread

I have searched and treid and I have not been able to solve my problem. I want to replace the pink box below with a customised image. So far I have managed to change the colour, but trying to specify an image just isn't working

I have edited the file called:

public_html/includes/templates/ashley_pink/css/stylesheet_footer_menu.css
```with the following text:
#navSuppWrapper {margin: 0;padding: 0;background-image:url(../images/footer.png)
I have also added the footer.png file to:
public_html/includes/templates/ashley_pink/images/footer.png
What am I doing wrong?
  1. Make sure that your image is actually where it is supposed to be.
  2. make sure your code styntax is exactly as follows:
#navSuppWrapper {margin: 0;padding: 0;background-image:url(../images/footer.png;)
  1. add height and width properties to the #navSuppWrapper
Thanks,
Anne
Thanks Anne,
Can you tell from my link above that the file is in the correct folder?
Sorry if this seems like a silly question to you.
I am still learning about Zen Cart :blush:
Re: Ashley Pink Template Support Thread
I think I made an error in my previous post.
I want to replace the pink box with my own image.
It seems as though the code for that area is coded as:
#footer {clear:both;margin:0;background-color:#e36e95;margin-top:0px;padding-top:10px;margin-bottom:30px;}
Replacing background-color:#e36e95 with background-image:url(../images/footer.png) still results in a blank screen.
I am about to throw this laptop out of the window :(
Re: Ashley Pink Template Support Thread
Did you specify a width and height for the background image?
Thanks,
Re: Ashley Pink Template Support Thread
Hi Anne,
how do I remove the "Tell A Friend" feature form my site? I have a robot spamming it and sending out emails through it... MASS emails... its rediculous! Or if you know how to add a captcha feature that would be great too! Thanks!
