Ashley Pink Template Support Thread

Hi,

Thanks for the template, looks great.

I'm trying to extend the header image at the top of the website to 100%, whilst keeping the body as it is. Basically, like this:
http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?196484-Extend-stretch-Top-header-Menu-Navigation-and-search-bar (see the images attached)

But rather than have an image that stretch across the whole width of the website, I want it around 1100 px width and then just fill the remaining gaps with white/black or whatever colour the header image is.

I know it's something to do with #headerWrapper &mainWrapper etc but being honest, I have no idea what I'm doing. I have just been doing trial and error and seeing the effects. Most of the time my new larger header image just squeezes into the original space. Any help appreciated.

You will need to edit the includes/templates/ashley_pink/common/tpl_header.php file and possible also the includes/templates/ashley_pink/common/tpl_main_page.php file as well as the stylesheet.css.

My question is with the header image, rubbing version 1.5.0. I have the image in place, but part of it is being cut off by the nav menu and the bottom portion of the header-bk image is not showing. I tried to increase the height of the image, must have been doing it wrong because it did not change. In the stylesheet I tried this:

#headerWrapper {background:#fff url(../images/header-bk.jpg) no-repeat center top;height: 170px;margin-top:25px;}

I had another question about completely removing the logo, but I think I've found the answer to that here, remove it from tpl_header.php

An easier way (and better in case you want to use the logo at some time in the future) would be to add a display:none; to the stylesheet.

If you add your background image as the logo and take off the padding for the logo in the stylesheet, all will work.

Thank u Anne for your help, but I tried the above and it didn't work. The full height of the header image still doesn't show.

I've got my columns grid fixed, thank you so much! I've turned "information" box on, how can I edit the items in it, I want to turn off Gift Certificate, Discount Coupon for now, but probably turn on in future. Can I do that?

I am hoping you can help me. Install went perfect, customization went perfect and everything was relatively easy except when I turned on a side box. As soon as I did that everything disappeared but the header, background, and nav bar. Can you please help? As soon as I turned the side bar off it came back.

Just editing to say that yes I did reset the boxes :)

Check your /cache folder for error logs and correct the problems.

hi! i just installed zen cart and this theme. i followed the instructions and zipped up the includes file, everything is added into hostgator file manager but the templates just doesn't show up, can anyone help me?

Check to see that you have installed the files to the correct place on your server. I would recommend installing using ftp.

1.3 is the version number for the template. It does not correspond to zen carts version number. All of oru templates are fully compatible with version 1.5 of zen cart.

Hi, I LOVE this template! I hope you can help with the following problem that I am having.

The problem is that the right side column's divider (the floral graphic) is getting out of the place. Please see photo to see what I mean.

Please read the readme.html file for the recommended admin settings to make the template look exactly like the demo.
