I have changed the extension to .png in the includes/languages/english/header.php file and it is not showing the change on the home page.

You need to be editing the override file in includes/languages/english/ashley_pink/header.php

That did it... thank you! I can't believe I didn't think to look there!

I would like to add Google Analytics script. I am supposed to add it to the common/tpl_main_page.php but when I go to common folder, there is no tpl_mail_page.php. It isn't in the original files I downloaded or the files I uploaded to my server. Can you advise where the file is? Thank you.

If you need to edit a file that is not already contained in the template package, then you will need to create an override for the file.

I am also having a problem with the slider coding on the home page. I deleted just the text underneath the slider so that you just see the images and now they are not showing up. Any idea why?

Oh and one more thing. I want to have the search bar be in the header but not on the side. But when I activate the header the box shows up automatically on the side. Do you know where I go to fix that coding and take it out? THANK YOU!

My guess is that you edited the define_main_page.php file with a wysiwyg editor. This is a php file and should only be edited with a plain text editor. You can reupload the define_main_page.php file from the template package.

If you follow the directions in the readme.html file for turning on the search box in the header your problem will be fixed.

Hi Anne, I love this template :D and I love your tutorials on your website too :D they helped me a lot since I don't even know the ABC of coding.

I've installed his template, however, when I take a look at your other template, they seem to be refined and look much better than this one in terms of its overall look...eg, the footer in the newer ones look amazing...and the header too...but I don't want to use them as I love this template :D

What I wanted to know is how I can add the 'home', 'log in', 'shopping cart' etc on top of the headers...here's an example... (I'm not sure what they're called....navigation menu??)

I am happy that you like the template and are using it for your site.

You can add things to the header by editing the includes/templates/ashley_pink/common/tpl_header.php file.

If you like the layout/features of the bradford pure template but the colors, etc. of the ashley pink, I would recommend starting from the bradford pure and just changing the colors to those used in the ashley pink.

If you want to move elements on the product info page around, you can edit the includes/templates/ashley_pink/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php file.

Reloaded Ashley Pink and now web site requires user name and password to access. I know it's a permissions issue and how to reset them but haven't found which files to reset yet. https://www.fairy-bliss.com, using 1.39, GoDaddy, Linux os, message says...."The server http://fairy-bliss.com80 requires a username and password. The server says: User Backups" and then of course has the fields for the user name and password. I had reinstalled once before (I had messed up the main page using html to edit) with no problem. Any ideas?

This is not a template problem. I would recommend contacting your web host about the error.
