The tabs and sections are driven by a combination of javascript and CSS. If you are know how to create webpages, the readme file and all of it's source files (CSS, javascript, etc) are included in the IH3 fileset. You can use them as a guide/source for creating a similar style of readme file for your module.

Are you asking if shipping weight or the product description can appear inside the hover display INSTEAD of the image or you want the product description/shipping weight to appear in the hover WITH the image?? Because if what you are looking for is some kind of fancy/enhanced text hover (vs an image hover), that kind of functionality is well outside the bounds of this mod as it is an image management/image display mod..

It is doable and someone has done it or something extremely similar, but they never shared and i cannot for the life of me find the thread as it was outside of the Image handler support threads.

Thinking about it, it shouldn't be that difficult for someone knowledgeable to do, just a bit time consuming

Does IH3 allow you to specify a title for additional images?
I'd like the alt and title text to be different for each of my additional images so when you hover over them you get different pop up text.

Thanks!This is similar to what chaiavi was asking about.. I'm afraid that the answer to this is the same one as what nigel and I provided to chaiavi. (see posts just above this one..)

It's a shame....it would be nice to be able to write 'Side View', 'Top View', etc when the user zooms the different images in.
There's an Additional Image Titles mod but the only problem with that is you have to code the titles in a language file :(

You could always embed the titles in the images themselves. Just add a text layer to the images in Photoshop or some other graphics program.

We just upgraded a cart from 1.3.5 to 1.3.9. Old cart had IH2, new cart has IH2. There was a curious behavior where products would not display if the image associated was over 450k. This is still the case and I hope it's not related.

Customer went to load a 2MB image via IH to an existing product and the image did not compress. The result was that the full 2MB image loaded, thereby killing the product. It would not display within IH either.

Will installing IH3 likely take care of this?

Without something to look at (like say a link to the sotre where the issue exists..) we'd all be guessing.. Now some folks think guessing answers is helpful.. I'd prefer to provide a little more accurate reply..

So to summarize.. Can't answer your question as I don't know what's wrong to begin with..

Now.. If I HAD to GUESS based on what I see and know, I'd say NO, IH3 isn't going to resolve your issue.. However, I can't see your store, I don't know WHICH IH2 version you are running, so this would be a GUESS..

Understandable. Maybe I'll try it and see what happens.

I'm hoping the problem displaying large images not related, since if IH2/3 will work for me, it will workaround the issue. I have described the odd behavior but no one has any ideas. The database was thought to be corrupted but it is not.

Its more likely to be a php timeout issue (possibly can be changed on the server) as 99.9999999% of images used for websites are no where near that size, so possibly the script may be timing out because it is taking so long (relatively speaking) to compress and resize the image.

See what the servers php timeout limit is, you can always try increasing it.

The only real solution is to explain to your customer, to optimise images (or save for web) before uploading them, once they get the hang of it it becomes second nature (to some of them, others well umm they're just a bit special)

Then, I started another site for another client, as we are moving him from Volusion to Zencart and onto my server. The nameservers haven't been changed yet. But since everything else shows just fine, I can't see where that is the root of the problem.

This site had the same installs as the aforementioned site. I even took the individual product display template code from the glock shop and used it on this new site. So, essentially, the two sites were the same except for colors.

Here's just one product page for example:

From the beginning with IH2, this site's product images would not show. Thumbnails do show, but not the medium and large sizes.

• Yes, permissions are set appropriately.
• The three sizes of the image show in the IH3 admin section.
• I've been uploading the images the same way as I have every other Zencart store I've worked on/built.
• Even though when you try to view the properties of the images and it says the file isn't there, it is. [view thread mentioned below for screenshots]
• Yes, I've doubled and tripled checked all IH3 install files.

So, I thought perhaps upgrading to IH3 would do the trick. Still nada.

Been adding more products today and this is the first product that has more than 1 image.

The mystery continues ...

Image Handler is not managing your images.. It's pretty clear based on the links you've provided that your images are not being served up from the bmz_cache folder.. This means that for whatever reason IH3's primary functionality is not working..
This points to an installation issue.. Can't say where since I cannot see your store files.. suggest comparing your store files to the IH3 fileset and see if these are discrepancies in the files..

The other is... After installing IH3 Additional images started displaying in a column instead of a row... How do I fix that?
