Yes. The new version of the module uses the new USPS API V3. That was part of the reason I made it available.

Just remember if you have a heavy traffic site to upgrade the threshold now. It took me about 5 weeks before they finally got back to me and that was after I poked them about it.

I had a customer who was "having problems" with the Shipping Estimator. Every time I placed an item in the cart, it worked for me.

"Well, try this one."

The weight was 0.000. Turns out they had 18 items at 0.000 and several at 0.001.

No telling how many in the world have done this, but you might want to put some comment on the estimator about an incorrect weight and advise the user to contact the store owner.

That's... a REALLY weird one. Shocked there wasn't a tare weight. Was the weight 0.000 exact? 0.001 lbs is less than 1 ounce 0.1 ounce o.o . I guess I could it to equal one ounce if it's really small and a non-digital or mixed cart.

Fair enough but I think I have a way in mind the force an error if there is zero weight detected. I'll start working on it when I can.

I'm thinking it would be better to be caught before it got to a mod from USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHI, etc.

The shipping modules shouldn't have to deal with all the options. Is the weight 0 because it's a virtual item? Things like that.

That's more or less what I was going for.

"Is this weight zero? Stop and report, even if the report options are turned off."

Odd enough, quotes can still be obtained when the total weight is zero.

Do we need to add caching for USPS rates when the cart and destination address hasn't changed ? Several of my clients have reported rate quotes stopping because they hit API limits, and USPS doesn't seem to be terribly responsive in raising the limits.

Terribly slow is an understatement, they literally took five weeks for mine and I had to follow up with them. I thought about catching the results but if there's one change in the cart, the results could significantly shift

I am using zen-cart 1.5.7 and I have uploaded the USPSRestful into zc_plugins. When I go to plugin manager, it does see the plugin, but when I install I just get a blank screen. ApachePHP Version: 8.1.34 (Zend: 4.1.34) MySQL 8.0.45.

As mentioned in the readme, for 1.5.7: front-side encapsulated modules don't work at all (even with the changes). You have to use the non-encapsulated version. Uninstall the module from the back end and upload the normal/standard method instead.

ZenCart's Plugin manager will then manage this module's versioning going forward. As this module is a "catalog-side" module, and not an "admin-side" one, this will only work with ZenCart versions 2.x and newer. (For ZenCart 2.0.0 and ZenCart 2.0.1, you need to make some file changes for it to work right.)

Did you enabled the module in the shipping modules listing as well? Additionally, what credentials are you using? If you had WebTools, you CANNOT use the WebTools credentials on this.
