Does the new USPSr overcome this issue? If not is there another plugin available that uses the new USPS system?

Yes this module serves quotes from the new API. You will need to obtain new credentials (hold your old ones) and use the module

When I request international quotes. I get Priority International Small/Medium/Large flat rate box quotes, but not Priority International or Priority Express International. Any idea why?

Priority Mail Express Boxes are only in one size where they come in three sizes for Priority Mail.

Bugfix being worked on now, version 1.7.1 may be incoming, but if you want to fix this now:

In /includes/modules/shipping/uspsr.php (either encapsulated or non-encapsulated), go to line 663 and add:

I had a customer who was "having problems" with the Shipping Estimator. Every time I placed an item in the cart, it worked for me.

"Well, try this one."

The weight was 0.000. Turns out they had 18 items at 0.000 and several at 0.001.

No telling how many in the world have done this, but you might want to put some comment on the estimator about an incorrect weight and advise the user to contact the store owner.

On this one, now coming to 1.8.0 (since this is a new "feature"): if the weight of the order (meaning items plus tare) is equal to zero, the module won't send a call but will instead output:

These will be removed. I'm leaving the remnant and commented out "if" statement as a reminder of what that is supposed to do.

Three customers treated all our emails about USPS as spam. One was 1.5.8, so no encapsulation for them.

BTW, the process for Keys and Secrets is different now, and apparently, only one API can be added.

To ZenCart 2.0.0? Did you make the changes needed outlined here?

Yeah the change to API key limits took me by surprise too. It created a weird "in before the lock" situation and when they changed to the COP panel for keys, it locks you to only having one per account.

If not available to make these changes, you have to run as a traditional module instead.
