At first please try it.:no:Honestly Hira, I don't want to spend anymore time testing v1.4 of WOZ. :no: I don't see the point as there are still incompatibilities with SEO, and other feed modules (XML, RSS, etc..) which makes WOZ unable to meet my requirements. I'd really rather wait and spend my time testing the next version you have coming out which (as you have stated) is supposed to address these issues.. In the meantime I have some rather nice working solutions that I can use (no compatibility issues with other mods).

I'll be on the look out for your new WOZ release to test and compare against the solutions I have adopted..

thanksYes they are proprietary. As I setup the Numinix blogging solution, it became VERY obvious to me why the WOZ Sideboxes Only would not work with the Numinix blog embedding..

For my clients who don't need/want and embedded blog (and I do have clients for very good business reason who do NOT want their blog integrated) I will continue to use the WOZ Sideboxes Only contribution.. It is effective, and does not clash with SEO and other feed apps.

For clients who do want an embedded blog, now I can use the Numinix solution.. The only bummer to the Numinix solution IMO is the lack of sideboxes. Not everyone needs/wants them, but I wanted the option of not including the blog sideboxes to be a choice my client makes NOT a limitation of the blog integration solution.. So I embarked on expanding the Numinix solution for myself so that IF a client wanted an embedded blog with sideboxes, I had an option to offer them. A techy friend of mine was kind enough to help me with this..

Thanks for clarification. The example you posted seemed to deliver more function than the Numinix solution alone, so I was a little confused.

The ONLY way you could have installed both and not fouled up the full WOZ install is if you installed the Sidebox Only edition FIRST then installed the full WOZ version over this (effectively over writing the configure file that comes with the Sidebox Only edition)

The ONLY part of the WOZ Sideboxes Only module that would work with the full WOZ is the sideboxes. In fact there is NOTHING different about the sideboxes used in the Sideboxes Only edition with the exception of the new "Recent Posts" sidebox (which is NOT included in the full WOZ package.

I say all of this because I want to make sure it's CLEAR to anyone following this thread that the full version of WOZ STILL has issues (all well documented in this thread and ACKNOWLEDGED/CONFIRMED by the module's author). The WOZ Sidebox Only edition will NOT correct/fix ANY of the documented issues present in the full version of WOZ.. (Both versions 1.3 and 1.4)

The WOZ Sidebox Only edition ELIMINATES the known WOZ errors by effectively excising out ALL of the blog embedding code in the configure file (which has been established to be the likely source of the reported issues). This allows the WOZ sideboxes to function as a standalone solution without any of the incompatibilities and errors that are a part of the full WOZ (blog embedding) mod.

I do see some of the problems like on login. Oh my goodness I thought had it. don't think Im dealng with it anymore. Only way it works it whtour ssu. WOw. I got my hopes up too fast.

I think I will pass.If you read through the support thread you will see that it has already been established that WOZ DOES NOT WORK with at least two of the popular SEO solutions (Ceon URI, and Simple SEO). This fact has been ACKNOWLEDGED in this support thread by the mod author, Hira.

In my opinion, there are other blog embedding solutions which work COMPLETELY issue free. (meaning not suffering from the issues which have been consistently been reported by a majority of the users posting here in this thread) Two of these include:

1. Numinix's Blog Embedding Solution
2. Word Press on Zen Cart Sideboxes Only

Before you give up on blog integration, I suggest you read these threads:

This should give you some ideas (along with sample sites) of some of the suggested solutions in action.. HTH..

Okay so after visiting the Numinix site today I think I now see the issue.. You did NOT say in your earlier post that what you ACTUALLY installed was the Numinix blog embedding solution. You stated that you installed both WOZ and WOZ Sideboxes Only.. Did you also install the Numinix solution too??:blink:

So let me start by saying this, If you read through the comments on the Numinix blog and this support thread, you will see that it has been established and confirmed that the WOZ Sideboxes Only solution DOES NOT work with Numnix's blog embedding solution.

That said, it is hard to determine what you've actually installed and done to your site. So I will suggest the following:

1. You can install WOZ Sideboxes Only OR the Numinix Blog Embedding solution, but you cannot install BOTH.
2. IF you really did install the full WOZ + WOZ Sideboxes AND the Numinix Blog Embedding solution, you will need to uninstall EVERYTHING you've done, and decide between WOZ Sideboxes Only OR the Numinix Blog Embedding solution. (I do not recomment installing EITHER version of the full WOZ solution especially if you are using an SEO module)
   Once you decide what you want to do, reinstall ONLY ONE of these solutions. The Numinix Blog Embedding solution works JUST FINE with Ceon URI and/or Simple SEO. (Again, read through the comments on the Numinix blog for suggested .htaccess setups for either of these SEO mods)

I've a problem. Everything is installed fine. changes made, but only my sidebars are visible when i visit the blog page. Posts area is not visible(even in html source code). I am testing localy so cant provide live link. Is this some old problem?

I am using most current wordpress version i.e 2.9. Searching through this thread revealed this mod doesnt work properly with newer version. is this the reason?

Goodness me.......................It was the broken version from zen cart addons page. I downloaded from official page and it worked even with WP 2.8

The wordpress posts appear INSIDE the Zen Cart interface, in other words, no separate styling or adding links back to the cart site in a wordpress theme seems to be required. Is this correct?
Also I see that items in the checkout appear when one browses posts.
Wondering if you have used this in a site with Ceon's URI mod also installed.
