That test site uses the Numinix blog embedding solution with my proprietary sideboxes -- NOT the WOZ Sidebox Only mod. (details and instructions how to install the Numinix blog embedding solution are on the Numinix site). The main page on this test site also includes a blog post feed (in this case this is a recent posts feed)

The Numinix blog embedding solution works just fine with Ceon's URI mod. There is a specific line that must be included in the .htaccess for the Ceon's URI mod to function properly with the Numinix solution. The required code is posted in the comments on the Numinix site. (For those using SSU, there is a specific SSU file and a few .htaccess mods that must be made to work with the Numinix solution -- these are also posted on the Numinix site)

The wordpress posts appear INSIDE the Zen Cart interface, in other words, no separate styling or adding links back to the cart site in a wordpress theme seems to be required. Is this correct?
Also I see that items in the checkout appear when one browses posts.
Wondering if you have used this in a site with Ceon's URI mod also installed.

Advanced Shipper is a paid module from Ceon. It is not available from Zen Cart Free Downloads.

Can you make your new version of WOZ available for download so that we can test it?

The preparations for release are not yet done first of all.Hira, pardon my bluntness, but I don't understand WHAT it is you need to hear from the admins..

• The process for submitting mods is really well documented.
• The issue with the current version of your mod being crippled seems to have EVERYTHING to do with what was likely interpreted as commercial code in version 1.4 of your module.
• Your "free" version requires that the credit line on your mod remain intact unless one purchases a "release" (of sorts) from you which removes the credit line..
• The rules prohibit module authors from directly supporting modules (on this forum) which are NOT available in the downloads section..
  So here's my question.. WHY NOT create a version of this module which does not include this "commercial" code AND make it available on THIS SITE?? It seems to me that you are waiting for the mods to give you a pass on leaving in place what they deem to be commercial code. It seems EQUALLY clear that you will not be granted any such pass..

CLEARLY you are trying to improve your participation on this forum to support your module. You will not be able to do this if your module is not available here on THIS site..:no:

Regardless of whether this is released in the downloads section or not, could you please let us know when the newest version is ready to try? I am willing to test it out, I have the Advanced Shipper mod and would happily test your new version for compatibility.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "active". Users like Misty and myself have posted links to working demos of Zen/WOZ sites. But, once you use WOZ on an active site with other mods you will begin to see problems. You might see conflicts with standard Zen functions like ez pages, shipping estimator, and customer comments, but not at first, which is very unsettling...

With thanks.If you are really interested, search this thread for my user name. I have posted not only links to my test blogs, but DETAILS of the issues I have found including:

1. In compatibilities with other feed type modules (XML sitemaps, Google Base feeds, RSS feeds, etc)
2. Incompatibilities with SEO modules
3. ODD behavior of the WOZ module such as the blog will stop showing posts when the blog sideboxes are located in the left column versus the right column. (and this is an issue I can TOTALLY reproduce consistently)
   Saying that this mod "works" is a STRETCH IMO.. It WORKS only if you use it on a vanilla Zen Cart install and have the sideboxes positioned on the right. The minute you want to position the sideboxes differently or need to use this mod with other store add-ons, then the issues begin. (and for the record, Hira himself has acknowledge most if not all of these "issues")

At this point, I am waiting to see if Hira can understand our feedback on issues are that occurring and provide a solution in the new release of WOZ.

I added a “Ceon URI Mapping Setting” in WOZ Manager.
I gathered a header of wordpress in one file.

1. The sheer NUMBER of posts on this forum from folks who have unwittingly installed the two versions of this module available in the downloads section which DO NOT WORK means that this module SHOULD be made available here.
2. The expectation that Hira should participate on this forum to support this module requires that he make it available here.
3. Lastly and MOST important: Other module authors who have free modules available OUTSIDE the downloads section are NOT allowed to personally participate in the support their FREE modules on THIS forum. I don't see why Hira should get a pass on this rule simply because a select group of folks thinks that an exception should be made for him..
