I am trying to switch to this templete. What is the easiest way to switch on a live site? ThanksLOL. At exactly the time you were posting this question, I was answering it, for you specifically, back in this thread!

In addition to the guidance given in that other thread, you will also need to copy your header images into the new template folder, and copy any language file over-rides that you have made for the new template too.

Great, thanks sorry for the double question, but I found Future Zen after I asked in the other thread! Great templete!
I am slowly remembering everything that I have changed in my files but am having a few problems.
I can not get my left side boxes to show. I am wondering if this is a problem because I was using apple zen (actually, that is the reason I want to leave apple zen)
Secondly I am wondering if there is a way to make my logo fluid? I have some changes to make on it but I noticed it isn't fluid right now.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Head into Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings and turn the left column back on, and set the column and side box widths back to 150px.

Awesome!! How can I change the logo/header to make it adjust with the rest of the page?
Totally Zenned
You still need to set the widths for your right column and its sideboxes. That will enable the sidebox headers to align properly with the box contents.
You could set the width of your logo.gif to be 100% in your includes/languages/english/future_zen/header.php file. But then you're relying on your visitors' browsers to stretch the image and the results are going to vary from acceptable -> grainy -> Internet Explorer 6.

I am trying to add a border with graphics on it around the outside of my pages. I have tried everything and I can not get it to come up. I know it's in my css, but I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work and to no avail. Here is the section I have been working on
body {
margin: -5;
font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 62.5%;
color: #000000;
background-color: #e5edf5;
}
a img {border: none; }
What do I need to change?
Thanks!

Just thought I would add I tried adding
background: url(../images/elephants.jpg) repeat-x;} and still nothing.....any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Totally Zenned
Got it!!! Mental block, putting images into wrong folder!

Interesting - a sort of future Zen meets Apple Zen combination. I like it.
It works nicely in IE. Badly broken in Firefox, but adding the following to your stylesheet will fix it> #contentMainWrapper {clear:both}

Thanks, I have been trying to figure out the problem in FF! :smile:
I can not get my logo to move down, I want the top image to show just a hair more and the same with the footer. Also I can't get rid of the big white space inbetween the dropdown menu and my logo. I know they are both in css, but where, again I have tried everything I can think of. (Probaby something really easy I'm missing again!)
Also, how do I get rid of the blue box around my logo in FF?

And thanks I'm glad you like it! I really like Future Zen! I like Apple Zen, I just couldn't get it to work like I wanted!

If I've understood you correctly ...
This will take care of the blue box around your logo> #logo img {border:none}
This inserted any time after line 190 will open up space above and below your site for your background image to show through> #mainWrapper {margin: 20px auto}
and this will close up the gap between your logo and your drop down menu> #headerWrapper br {line-height:0}

I have used some of the techniques within this template to create rounded boxes on my site. On my left column some of the boxes are broken. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

In Firefox they're broken on the right too. The reason for this is because you have fairly large images in the headers with a big chunk of padding immediately afterwards. The padding is the gap.
If you make the change in red below to your stylesheet, it will remove the padding below. The shortening of the image URL is a recommended simplification that I also spotted whilst in there.
.leftBoxHeading, .rightBoxHeading {
margin: 0;
background-image:url(../images/sidebox-header.gif);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
padding: 1.5em 1em 0;
}

I am trying to figure out how to position my Logo that I am floating over a banner.
I have the following setup: (kalico is my CUSTOM folder)
In \includes\templates\kalico\css I have this in my stylesheet.css:
#logoWrapper {
width:100%;
height:105px;
background-image:url(../images/webtopper.gif);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-position:center center;
text-align:center;
padding-top:5px;
}
In \includes\languages\english\kalico I have this is my header.php:
define('HEADER_ALT_TEXT', '');
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '');
define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '192px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '64px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'k-logo-big.gif');
My question is - I can't figure out where I control the positioning of k-logo-big. I assume it belongs in the stylesheet. Maybe I have to add it.
thanks.

I don't know if this is something to do with my templete or not...
I can't figure out how to move the paypal express and googlecheckout buttons up closer or next to the checkout button in shopping cart. Preferably I would like them side by side underneath the checkout button (right underneath!)
If anyone has any ideas, I'll try anything!!! I am losing sales and I believe that this would help my conversion rate!
Thanks so much. Sorry if this has nothing to do with future zen (I really LOVE this templete!)
Totally Zenned
Nevermind, I found (to no suprise) the googlecheckout is forcing them down!
Thanks!
