QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

I guess i made a liar out of myself or spoke to soon.

I have two orders that did not import. and they are not sequential. Order157 and order 160.

Did another import today and they seem to have all downloaded fine.

This is strange, any sugestions?

Using: Zencart 1.3.7 and lovin' every minute of it.

mabarkdoll:

It is inside the plugin folder.

Looks like someone renamed it to ZenCartOrderManager.dll

So please just copy that file instead of the previously noted in the instructions.

Re: QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

Mark,

I have 2 questions for you:

1------------------------------------------
getting an error message in Order Integrator when going to:

Import >> Zen-Cart Order Manager >> Import all orders >> Import Options (button)

I then select my orders.csv, orders_products.csv, and orders_total.csv then 'Ok'

then click 'Import' button.

It looks like its importing and then I get an error: see attached screenshot:

Attachment #533

2------------------------------------------
I was able to get the Pending and Processing orders by:

Import >> Zen-Cart Order Manager >> Download Orders

but I noticed that some orders under "Qty / Part Numbers" it says "(No Parts Found)" even though it does show up in Zen-Cart admin.

Re: QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

I also noticed that the return address on the label has the Store Owner's name. I would rather have the business name. I can't seem to find the preference or option. Hoping this is a simple code change?

So far my testing is going good with the module -- except for a few issues listed above. Thanks for the time spent on this.

My client asked about integrating zen-cart with Endicia. I did a quick search and came across this in the forums. So you've saved me a lot of time developing.

Re: QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

I am having the exact same problem with the same error screen above. It look as though landshark found the answer by creating the db table in Aug 3rd post.

I have emailed mabarkdoll twice to provide and updated db, but have had no reply. This is badly needed in our community and if anyone could provide the final db settings so others could use this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

Quote from landshark's post:
"I had to manually create the orders_totals database. "

I'm assuming that landshark created the TABLE "orders_total' within the zen-cart DB and not a whole separate database.

landshark is using 1.2.7 and I'm not sure if this table didn't exist. But it does in 1.3.0.2 and it is used by ZC. I have about 780 entries in that table currently.

I originally thought it was an authentication error - maybe I had entered the wrong user/pass, domain or database name in the options. But this wasn't the case because I can go to download orders and it grabs everything with Pending or Processing status.

But because I can't import all orders I then can't export everything to Quick Books.

My DB doesn't have a prefix on the table names and I'm going to look through Order Integrator options and make sure that something isn't adding a prefix.

That is correct i created a new table in the database not a seperate database. bad choice of words on my part. I don't remember exactly how i did it since it was a little while back but it was trial and error till i got it to work.

However, I've decided to keep working with QBI instead of using this Mod.

Re: QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

I am having a problem connecting.

I hit refresh in Order Intergrator and nothing is happening.
I installed the zen dll correctly.
It just does nothing.

I went to tools -> orders Export
and got this error:
Warning: fopen(backups/orders.csv): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /usr/home/milobloom/domains/nothingbutcostumes.com/public_html/admin/exim.php on line 7

Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/milobloom/domains/nothingbutcostumes.com/public_html/admin/exim.php on line 14

Did I install the files wrong?

My home directory structure looks like this:
/domains/nothingbutcostumes.com/public_html
What should i put in the server name section?

I think I am running 2.9 just not the newest...

You need to change the permissions on admin/backups directory to 777. Just the backups directory NOT the whole admin folder.

Re: QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

I tried downloading an order to QB from Order Integrator. The order came through with todays date instead of the actual order date. Has anyone seen this behavior?

Thanks!

Yes, thats one of the things i didn'y like about this mod. It uses the date of the import not the date the order was places. I actually think it is a limitation of Order Integrator.

Using: Zencart 1.3.7 and lovin' every minute of it.

Re: QuickBooks Endicia Zencart

Well i am having a couple problems with the install , any help is greatly appreciated : )

The first issue is with installing order integrator 1.04 (also tried 1.01 and had the same problems) when i try and install it i get the following errors that i am forced to hit ignore to get it installed.

Error opening the file for writing
C:windows\system32\oleaut32.dll

Error opening the file for writing
C:windows\system32\olepro32.dll

Error opening the file for writing
C:windows\system32\stdole2.tlb

After i click ignore on these three files it seems to install correctly. after doing a bit of research on their forums this doesn't seem to be an issue because This error simply means the file is in use by another program. Since the file is already on my computer the error can be ignored.

I then drop the order manager dll file into the plug in folder and click rescan . Then I open import>zen cart order manager>other options>options tab. and get the screen that is shown in the instructions . I add server address which is mjmods.com , my admin user name and password, check both boxes and then click the refresh button and I get this error .

run-time error 35754
unable to connect to remote host

I thought maybe i had the sever address wrong somehow so i called sashbox and confirmed that the sever address is mjmods.com

btw i am running zen cart 1.30

any ideas ?
