Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I am running zen 1.3.9h with digital shop template.and ih2 image handler

When i hover over images i am getting the back ground description as well. can i switch this off somewhere. thanks

by chance did you merge files that matched together? it looks like something did not get either copied over or not commented out.

forgot to add that when you hover you see the info but there is code showing in the pop up image too

which version of IH2 are you running?

I don't see what it is you are talking about.. It would help if you could explain what you mean by "background description"

then click on the image to view larger.....

pop up comes up small so need to grow it to see image and right above it in the black part you can see the code peeking out and

also near top of browser window

Just what I was getting ready to say.. Not an IH2 issue.. and before matelots asks... I have NO IDEA how to fix this.. this need to be asked elsewhere on the forum..

In the noted case it was to do with an apostrophe in the name of the image.

In my particular case I have a + sign in the title, which corresponds to a product size, as in M+ for Medium Plus. In the product listing I use &#43 for the sign as that doesn't muck up my Ceon SEO. In the main photo name I've used the actual + sign.

When I get the error message in the IH window I am, at the same time, getting a 'file successfully uploaded' message up top of the zen main window.

I don't use a lot of additional images. And I just happened to updge to IH 2.8d yesterday, on zc 1.3.9h; many mods including Zen Lightbox. Everything else seems to be working ok after the update.

Is there a symbol I could use in the hack on page 576 to make this annoying little plus sign play nice?

Installed IH2, am in the process of configuring it, and I have some questions.

In the ReadMe, it says this:

For small image hover to work on the product listing pages:

• All Products

• New Products

• Featured Products

• Special Products

the following settings must match the Small Image Width and Small Image Height settings:

• Subcategory Image Width

• Subcategory Image Height

Question: What is the difference between Subcategory Image width and Top Subcategory Image width?

Question: How are Top Subcategory images treated by IH2?

Question: If the main feature of IH2 is to be able to only have to upload one image per product, would that mean I would want to upload my largest image in order to have it appear with the zoom feature? And then IH2 would shrink that image down to the size settings I config in the admin?

Question: How does this alter my use of _LRG in file names and the use of the _LRG image folder? i.e. right now I have my normal size image in my main image folder, and my larger sized for zooming using Zen LB in the _LRG folder with the _LRG filename extension.

I'm not sure what kind of changes to make to my existing image filing process.

i have both installed too and when i did not the store just grew the image itself when I added mine

but with IH2 I upload via the manager or in the product/category area [clicking the little pink i] the original large size then the software resizes it to fit the two sizes smaller that I have set in the images control center.

when adding the images the IH2 software part does its own thing...renaming and sizing to settings

That's what I thought in terms of going forward...but what about my existing images? Do I need to dump them and reload through IH so they're no longer set up with the regular size in the main image folder and the larger size in the _LRG folder?

Since I've only installed a dozen or so products for testing purposes, it wouldn't be that big of a deal if I have to do that.

IH2 doesn't affect my category and subcategory images does it?

it was working in google chrome showing the pop up images near the actual image like it should as in Firefox...now it doesn't

I can not seem to find the fix that allowed it to work anywhere.

Will updating this version to the one that is offered now make it behave right in google chrome?

*UPDATE

I went ahead and updated to the 2rev8d, needless to say I broke my test store cause the hover worked but not my lightbox

so after finding the twin files I merged them and I am so happy. LB and IH2 are coexisting once more on test and live store and YES it made Google Chrome behave also so that the pop up image is beside the additional/image showing at the time.
