okay , i need a little help with sql here....

i have 6000+ subscribers and i want to split them into groups. (probably 500 emails per group)

i went to the zen_query_builder to create a new row, but i got stuck at the query_string. what's the sql code to select subscribers from 1 to 500, and 501 to 1000 etc...

okay , i've wrote this,,, anyone have an idea if it works fine.

select s.email_address as customers_email_address from TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS as s LIMIT 0 , 500

Hi I love this contribution, thank you for this! I had it installed on a a 1.27 and i am now instaling it on a 1.3.01 i cannot read your example header template file it is extracting as something I cannot access, could you please point out to me where I would put the code to have it display in the header, i have tried placing it in various places, i either get the text or errors, thank you in advance.

Just rename the file extention to .txt (so tpl_header.php.txt) ..windows may warn you about changing the extension...just ignore and change anyway. Then you can open in a normal text editor.

Sorry, I didn't see there were new posts til just now.

To be sure you are keeping an order (so you don't get random rows returned you should have an ORDER BY clause in there:

SELECT
s.email_address as customers_email_address
FROM
TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS as s
ORDER BY
s.email_address
LIMIT 0 , 500

That should work so long as you just want the email address.

That will return the first 500.
To get the next 500 you'd have to enter another query, same as above, but:
LIMIT 500, 500  (1st returns 0-499)
then 3rd: LIMIT 1000, 500

You're going to end up with quite a few-12+ for 6000

I don't know how php-wise you are...it would be a better solution to alter the program to call in integrals-either manually or automatically, but what you have should work for a stop-gap (if you are sure 500 go through without issues).

not that wise haha... a begginer :)
here's what i got stuck in. your module worked fine until i uploaded the 6000+ subscribers.
i tried twice to sent an html newsletter to those 6000 emails. in both times, failed, and it page didnt refresh. all i got is a blank page...

so i thought it would be a better idea if i split those 6000 emails into groups... maybe that way i would sent my newsletter w.o any troubles...

note: many users actually received the newsletter. but im not sure how many out of those 6000 did get it...

If you can delay resending until late this weekend I can try to squeeze in a review of the newsletter email program and see if I can implement a quick fix. I'll do my best to make it 1.2.7 compat (I have to see what changes they made in the newsletter script between that and 1.3.0)

I have work tonight and then must catch up on my sleep or I'll be no good to anyone. :)

Does anyone know how to delete multiple newsletter subscribers instead of one by one? Ideally, I would like to delete all newsletter subscribers at once.

Hi I've been using the module for a good while and it's excellent but can I somehow use it with checkout with an account mod? So it would display checkbox for newsletter in the same manner like the usual registration page? cheers!
