Profit Markup/Margin Calculator

I've done everything you said, uploaded the files you sent me, ran the sql's you sent, and it still won't work. Somewhere, somehow, the markup and fee are not connecting with the cost to create the new price. I cannot read or program php, so, I'm at your mercy here. Don't give up on me yet, cause if I'm having this trouble, others will too.

Remember, I'm running on my local server, phpMyAdmin 2.7.0, with the latest version of Zen.

PS: Your PM box is full, and cannot receive any more PM's.

wtashby, I just installed a FRESH copy of Zencart 1.3.0.1 to only test out this mod.

I went through the installation file i sent you . All worked fine.

I dont know why it isnt working for you. The Values are shown up on the Admin side and they are being added to the Database.

Check the ScreenShots of the Admin section and the Database Query reflecting the change.

It seems as if no one is interested

Maybe there is something I'm missing? Are there any mods that would conflict with this one? I have your other mod, the Profit_Markup_Calculator_v1[1].12

Could that be a conflict?

Maybe there is something about the cost field I'm missing. I actually only have Cost for 2 products. I manually entered those, but, I would think that the mod would work no matter if you had all product costs entered, or, just one.

If no one else seems interested, well, hee hee, I guess you are stuck with me:D

i am recieving two problems,

the first, is that the link in admin > reports is not displaying correctly, its showing as BOX_REPORTS_PRODUCTS_MARGIN, and when its cicked, it goes to :

secondly, i get this error on the report screen...

1054 Unknown column 'op.products_cost' in 'field list'
in:

i guess something to to with a define for the first one, and incorrect table refferences in second ???

I am setting up another cart on a test site for another store. What can I test for you? I too am not a coder/php goddess so I can only install, run, and report for you... Would that be enough? Or are you needing someone who can find the errors and code fixes then report back to you?

Not sure if anyone already suggested this, but the recent screenshot doesn't show it so I thought I'd comment... Would it be possible to add a column total for Total Cost and Total Profit on the report sheet?

Which Field's in Table products in the D/B would I/We need to export so i can up date all the cost's in excel and then inport them as EP can not do this yet??

is it just:

products_cost

or

products_cost, products_margin_gross_dollar, products_margin_gross_percent

working on that I/We only need to get the cost done in bulk, then global markup can mark it up.

partially fixed, but two links on the report page are still not working.

We were just getting internal server errors. I am only now able to look at things late evening.

i have got it working, i believe, although its nothing like the screenshots iv seen.

the first thing i had to do was change the filename link in the admin/stats_products_profit.php file to refect the actual filename. From there i removed all the "o"s from the p_products_cost vars on that same file. and then it worked but there is still something wrong i believe... im waiting form some help myslef. ill post a screeen shot in a min.

I also had the following problem in the category.php file :

by changing, in admin/includes/functions/functions_price.php the following line:

    $show_normal_price = $currencies->display_price($display_cost_price);

to

    $show_normal_price = $currencies->display_price($display_cost_price, zen_get_tax_rate($product_check->fields['products_tax_class_id']));
