Profit Markup/Margin Calculator

plowe1:

Good work.

what did you end up changing in functions_prices ????

how do i get the profit report??

its not complete as yet, though ti works fine.

The product details are taken from the orders_products table. Meaning that the report will be displayed which will contain the Product Pricing, its Cost, etc. at the time a customer placed the order. Since you might change the product price or cost later on .

How do I view these reports? I can't seem to find anything in my admin that looks like the screen shot you included.

yes sure, PM me .

I have almost completed the Global Markup. It has a prerequisite before using it, You have to upload the Products Cost of each and every products manually , either through the Profit Markup Calculator or through Easy Popullate.

Well, since so many people use drop-shippers, and get their data files from them, this pre-requisite would be more of a super convnience:thumbsup:

That way, we don't have to mess with the cost in the data file, and can simply (and this will make it VERY simple) apply a global markup.

I personally really like the way this is shapping up. Your Super Cool mod will make life much easier for me, and I'm sure, many others.

By the way, once the global markup is set, it will stay that way, even if you upload new products, or, update the "costs" of the origionals, correct? Meaning, I don't have to re-set the global markup unless I actually want to change the percentage.

Yes, the Global markup will remain the way it was set.

If you upload more products along with their costs, it will not change the Glocal Markup. It will remain the same. THough you will have to apply the Markup on the New Products either Manually , if the items are few, or Set the GLobal Markup again (if the new products are large in number).

Re: Profit Markup/Margin Calculator

Still sounds simple enough, and a very convenient way to change cost to the marked up price for large inventories:thumbsup:

I can't wait for your new release, and I will be more than happy to be your test subject.:D

Re: Profit Markup/Margin Calculator

Looks good:thumbsup:

I take it then that no matter which product you are on within the price manager, once you set the global markup and fee, it will automatically adjust all product costs?

yes it does nto matter in which products you are in, it will adjust the Products Price, not the products Cost.

You have to manually add Costs for each products either through Profit margin calculator or Easy Populate
