iv come into a new problem!

it seems that this contrib isnt displaying the cost for an attribute, although it calculates it, it dont display it within the attribute. i believe the problem is in the functions_prices.php file, but i can seem to pinpoint it.

anyone here having the same issue? or know how to fix it?

Updating the markup in bulk --

For those of us with more than a few products (me - about 4000 products), has anyone found a way to update markup in excel and import them all?

Since the advanced version of EP has been "almost done" for a seeming eternity, it'd be nice to find an alternate way to update prices quickly when using this handy markup tool. I appreciate any help!

Hello I just installed the profit_Markup_calculatorv1.12 I douwnloaded from this thread. I followed the instructions. Here is my issue. I have all my categories setup in my zencart but no products since the store is not live yet. I am running Zen Cart 1.3.0.2
Database Patch Level: 1.3.0.2

After I installed this mod and logged into my zenadmin panel and clicked cCategories -> catergories/products I have the following errors listed next to each category title

Warning Missing argument 2 for display_price() in /home///admin/includes/classes/currencies.php
on line 70 $0.00

Warning Division by zero in
/home///admin/includes/functions/functions_prices.php on line 412 0.00%

Please tell me where I messed up. I do not see anywhere in the readme where it says to edit the currency.php file ??

I don'r know if it is very dificult to make this, but for me I need to input directly
the product Cost and that is the normal.
And the second Field: Gross Margin $ instead of the Markup Percent, that need to be automaticly calculated.

I've allready tried to make this to work, but without any success.

Does some one manage to link this with the mod "quick updates" or "inventory report" ?

I've searched and can't find any similar available. Either free or a commercial add-on. Have I missed anything?

PS. For anyone who doesn't fancy reading this thread I'm looking for a solution where I enter my stock's cost price plus mark-up and the store calculates the retail price.

I installed this on the latest 1.38a Zen Cart and it seems to work fine, actually really well, but.... anyone know if its possible to reset the statistics?

Hoping its not a dead add-on as it seems to be a fantastic mod to use.

Is there an update to this?

I'd love updates here too (even willing to chunk out a little $).

Really suprised theres not been more updates to this mod as it could be so great, the only problem I see is reseting the statistics, has anyone managed to incorporate this into the Sales Report mod? as that would be perfect.

I still wont be developing this module, though someone might take over.

Hello, I am working with a fresh install, with the following information.

1.3.9h
easy populate with group pricing
profit markup/margin calculator

I had to add a couple of custom fields in easypopulate.php for cost, markup, gross dollar, gross percent (for markup/margin addon)

Everything is populating like it should, but the markup's are not taking place.

Cost field is populated
Markup is populated.

However, I get no price.

Thoughts???

This is a great tool and really should be in the basics of zen cart. From reading above, the person that was supporting no longer does. Has anyone taken it over and if so is there a new release?

Please say someone is going to pick this up and support it. Or is there another module that does the same thing or close to it. I would really like to add something like this to my site, so i can keep track of everything coming and going.

It seems that this mod is a long time not updated, but this seems to be a mod that many people can use.
I want to try this mod,because I am want to do the following:
Run a report of my total stock with cost price ,this means I want a stock report with quantity and als value in euro.
Is this possible?
I hope so, cause I am already looking a long time for such a report.
