Recover Cart [Support Thread]

I've installed the newest version, but when I go to Tools-Recover Carts, it says

1146 Table 'baby_newzen.scart' doesn't exist
in:
[select cb.customers_id, cb.products_id, cb.customers_basket_quantity, cb.customers_basket_date_added, cus.customers_firstname, cus.customers_lastname, cus.customers_telephone, cus.customers_email_address, sc.datemodified from zen_customers_basket cb left join zen_customers cus on (cb.customers_id = cus.customers_id) left join scart sc on (cb.customers_id = sc.customers_id) where cb.customers_basket_date_added >= '20061021' and cb.customers_id not in ('') order by cb.customers_id asc, cb.customers_basket_date_added desc]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I've tried installing the sql through my zen admin and through phpmyadmin. My db has the prefix zen_. When I installed the SQL through phpmyadmin, the above error was no longer there, but a similar error appeared on the page when I tried to click send to send an e-mail to a customer, this time saying the orders table does not exist. It looks like it's trying to pull the info from the table without the prefix. How do I get the db prefix in there?

Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]

Well, I removed all the old files, downloaded the new 1.5 and installed it to my server and now I am seeing two issues.

  1. $EMAIL_MESSAGE_HTML is still all I see in the body copy of emails I send when HTML is turned on in the admin.

  2. It appears that there is no defines in the module for the headers? In the report section, all variables are showing, instead of correct titles.

i.e.HEADING_TITLE
DAYS_FIELD_PREFIXDAYS_FIELD_POSTFIX
TOTAL_RECORDS 4
TOTAL_SALES 0TOTAL_SALES_EXPLANATION
TABLE_HEADING_SCART_ID TABLE_HEADING_SCART_DATE TABLE_HEADING_CUSTOMER TABLE_HEADING_ORDER_DATE TABLE_HEADING_ORDER_STATUS TABLE_HEADING_ORDER_AMOUNT

Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]

The version I have (downloaded from the link in Andrew's signature, above) says v 2.01 in the Tools->Recover Cart Sales, and v 2.0 in the Reports->Recover Cart Sales.

Both the tool and the report are working fine for diplaying, although I haven't tested the HTML email yet.

Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]

If I have already installed the non-Andrew version of this which I downloaded from here, how do I properly remove it and the sql in order to install Andrews version?

Thank you!

Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]

Is this compatible with the new 1.3.6? I just added this to my site and get this error when I attempt to recover carts:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/kellysco/public_html/shop/admin/recover_cart_sales.php on line 429

Do you need globals on? Or does it simply not work with the latest version? Anyone know?

Thanks,
Kelly

Hi sleepless

I am running the latest recover cart mod straight out of the box from a_berezin sig. with globals off. I upgraded my cart to 1.3.6 with recover cart already installed and everything works fine. Did not have to do any modifications with files. Oh html emails work as well

Not sure how to fix your problem as I am no wizz at code but I think I had similar problem and still do, see earlier post on previous page!!

good luck and hope that you are able to sort through it!!

Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]

When I try and upload the SQL file, I get this error:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '; CREATE TABLE scart ( scartid int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, customers_id' at line 1

and it doesn't install successfully. How do I fix this error? I've been playing with this for quite awhile now with no luck. It worked fine before I upgraded. I am now using Zen 1.3.5 with the latest version of Recover Carts.

Thank you!

Thank you!I have a prefix and I have exactly the same problem as you.

Looks like the mod isn't putting the prefix in front of the database. Will have to wait for Andrew to fix it.

Thank you so much for replying and letting me know you have the same problem! I was starting to think I was just going nuts and everybody was ignoring me lol :blush: This is really frustrating because before I upgraded the old version of recover carts worked just fine :(

Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]

Shouldn't it be pretty easy to add the prefix in ourselves? I tried but I just can't get it to work. I've successfully done it with other mods, but this one I'm just not having any luck :( I would think we could just add zen_ to the table names but it's not working for me...

And for some reason, it wasn't used for scart to make it prefix_scart.

But looking for where that is waaaaay beyond me!

Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]

/admin/includes/extra_datafiles/recover_cart_database_tables.php (or maybe recover_cart_filenames.php ):

define('TABLE_SCART', 'scart');
``` vs
define('TABLE_SCART', [B]DB_PREFIX . [/B]'scart');
It was /admin/includes/extra_datafiles/recover_cart_filenames.php
Worked a treat :thumbsup:
Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]
Hi,
I'm now trying out the email function. I click on send email and I get
1146 Table 'alanlam_zencart.orders' doesn't exist
in:
[select * from orders where customers_id = '2']
I assume it's a similar problem. :unsure: I'm off to lunch and will have a look at after I get back if someone else hasn't solved it in the meantime!
Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]
Hi,
For everyone using prefixes, this is all the changes I made to get it to work
/admin/includes/extra_datafiles/recover_cart_filenames.php
Change
define('TABLE_SCART', 'scart');
to
define('TABLE_SCART', DB_PREFIX . 'scart');
define('TABLE_ORDERS', DB_PREFIX . 'orders');
and in
/admin/recover_cart_sales.php
around line 265 change
$cquery = $db->Execute("select * from orders where customers_id = '" . $cid . "'" );
to
$cquery = $db->Execute("select * from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " where customers_id = '" . $cid . "'" );
It now works for me.
Best regards
Alan
Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]
i haven't installed this mod yet on my live site.. still testing it out on my test site. Lets say i decided to add this to my live site.. and then decided i no longer wanted to use it after a while. How would I go about uninstalling it?
Edit: Talking about the DB stuff, I know I can just delete the files and I won't have to worry about that. Mainly worried about DB stuff
Re: Recover Cart [Support Thread]
also a quick note.. i just downloaded the file from andrew's site (a_berezin) and it already has the previously posted database prefix fixes
edit: i swear this is the last edit! is anyone having problems deleting past orders that are stuck? For example.. i have a few orders back from August that I'd like deleted.. but the delete button doesn't work. Thanks!
