For Fixed tabs like that you would normally have to a different tab system.. or at least a completely redone css/js system. Tabbed Products Lite was designed to be dynamic via the use of text based tabs.

But, in one of my genius moments (:P), I allowed the tab tags to support HTML inside the tabs you could actually include <img src...> tags in the title.
So instead of

<!--%Product Description%-->

you could any variation of html, Some examples:

<!--%Product<br />Description%--> - Wrap tab text <!--%<b>Product</b><i>Description</i>%--> Bold first word, Italic second <!--%<img src="/path/to/textimage.jpg">%-->

And of course, even a Demo for you :)

Now the last tab is probably more what you want. but of course you'd have to make transparent background images

You could probably do it the same way in the language file to do it for the Global Products Description tab.

Although most of the changes within the 'tpl_product_info_display.php' file are cosmetic, it did require a changing of the logic flow. So my only concern was your Mod looking for certain code in certain places.

Once I get a chance to read through your material I'll have a better idea of how it all works together. I do like the idea though, of using a seperate file for any Mod.

The code needed to add is basic logic so that if you set something to show up on a tab, it doesn't also show up in its original area. So in the default zen core prod info template, you see a lot of <!-- bof Add to Cart box --> and <!-- bof Quantity Discounts box -->. I simply put an if statement around each box that checks a variable that is set when you set something to be on the tabs. If it finds the global tab is set or that the tag for that tab was found in the product description area, it will set that on_tab_flag to true and if true on tab, then don't show in normal location.

Other than that, i only do a logic check to see if you want the main image to be on the tab or if you just want the tabs under the image. Then I require the tabs module template for the tab stuff.

The changes that I see on your site shouldn't be affected tho as those are well below the description area.

The tabbed look would only be on the products themselves. That page appears to be the main store front page. Try clicking on a product to see what it looks like. Also, check in your Admin->Configuration->Tabbed Products Config page to see if you have more than just "Global Product Description on Tab". If not, then run the 3.6AlternativeSQL file that I included. You should have 10 settings there, not just one.

when it says "custom" template.. it does not literally mean the word custom - it means whichever template you are using. So, if your template's name is "REGULAR", you would rename the "CUSTOM" folder to "REGULAR" and upload it. That is why your store is appearing like it is.. because the stylesheet is associated with the "template_default" folder

It would be wise to learn more about the templating system, and theres tons of great info in the wiki :)

Ran into this myself and it's due to the css file not updating after an FTP upload.

To solve: whatever recent css file you uploaded, delete it in your Hosting account. Upload same css file again and problem should be corrected.

I finally got the template to load up, now I just have to figure out how I want to change it.

I have been reading the wiki files on templates, but find them to be pretty general for someone thats new to this game. Would help if there were more detailed examples, I just have to do some trial and error.

It might help to have a more detailed list of files that need to be changed when adding templates. There might be someone that has already gone over that, but I haven't found it yet. There are sure a lot of messages to go over, search doesn't always find the subject your looking for, tabbed lite has over 60+ pages of messages. I seem to learn better by doing then reading some of the lessons on php. It sure helps to have people willing to help out. I know some of us newbe's can be a pain in the ***, asking the same questions. Us old guys(51) have a problem keeping up, I've been lost since they quit using DOS.

The Reviews on tab is a new feature coming in the next version. I hope to release it either tonight or tomorrow.

• Added Reviews tab :) Includes new custom reviews template.
• Optimized the config file a bit.
• Fixed a potential bug that the sub_ tags added. Unfortunately it requires minor changes to your tpl_product_info_display.php file if you have a custom one.
• Since both the Admin Edition & Non-Admin Editions are basically the same, only the top part of includes/modules/tabbed_products_lite.php changes for the Non-Admin version. It is now included in a folder inside the modules folder. Switch it with the one in the folder up to the root modules/ folder if you don't want to use the admin area to make config changes.
• Fixed the SQL to properly create all the new configuration settings in the Admin area
• Updated the readme again to make it a tabbed view for fun.

Important! For upgraders, you will need to run the SQL again to add the 2 new configurations as well as to clean up any "work arounds" from the other sql file. The new file will fix all the problems causing the config to only show you one setting.

There were quite a few changes to the tpl_product_info_display.php file unfortunately, more for the sub tag stuff that I tried lumping with other variables.

As usual, my demo in my sig shows examples.

At the top of my products, or manufactors page I got the following:

Filter Results by:TEXT_PRODUCTS

and the drop down box has the following

TEXT_PRODUCTS_LISTING_ALPHA_SORTER_NAMES

this did not do that before I add tabbbed lite, where am I missing this.
