Tabbed Products ''LITE'' version - Delimiter based

This is a great contrib! It's exactly what I've been looking for to clear the clutter from my product page.

Just one question...how would I be able to move the product price, item number, and manufacturer name into the default product desciption tab?

Well if you want it all in the tab, including the image, you can set "Global Main Image on Tab" set to 1 in the admin area. That will give you the look like this:

i'm actually wanting the image and product title separate from the tabs, so that's why i didn't use the global main image option. and, then the other stuff i mentioned above in the product description default tab... any ideas?

That would require some template file editing, both of the tpl_product_info_display.php file and tpl_tabbed_products_lite.php.

They are structured similarly, so you can edit the first file listed and find the "Product Details" stuff. Then cut that and paste it in the second file. BELOW this line:

        <br class="clearBoth" />

Repeat for anything else you want away from the image and title.

Just installed the tabs 3.8. Went carefully through the instructions, and edited a product to use some tab info, but no tabs are showing.

Obviously I'm missing something here. I went through the Tabbed Product Config screen, and pretty much left the defaults.

Is there a common mistake that most people make on this?

Did you rename "YOUR_TEMPLATE" folder to trublu (Assuming you are using this on the infinite-realities site.

I copied the appropriate files to the trublu folder, yes, but I didn't rename anything.

Looking at your site, none of the required files seem to be there.

in the Tabbed Products contrib, when you extract it, all the files and folders are in the correct directory structure needed to just simply upload and they will go into the correct place. The only thing you need to do is change the "YOUR_TEMPLATE" folder inside the includes/template/ folder in the contrib and rename it to trublu. Then upload the entire structure from the root area of the contrib to the matching root area of your zen-cart install and it will copy all the files for you to the correct places.

I have <!--%Product Description%--> and <!--%Features%--> within the text of the description (not using HTMLArea editor).

Is there a way to increase the height of the buttons? I'm using new buttons, which have larger arches, and I'd like the buttons to be taller. I've uploaded my new buttons, and have tried different things to make the tabs taller, but no go. Any ideas?

I'm still having a problem with the information box since I updated to to newest version of Zen.

I am using Tabbed Lite with TruBlue template, now my information box comes up looking like this:

All of the links are run together, how do I fix this....

I had the same problem on a fresh Zen install. Here's my fix:

In includes/templates/trublu/sideboxes/tpl_information.php

  for ($i=0; $i<sizeof($information); $i++) {
    $content .= $information[$i] . "<br />";
  }

  $content .= '';
?>
```I added the <br />, where I think it originally just had emtpy quotes.

That worked!!!! I've been looking thru the posts for the last few days, and no one seem to address this at all, thought I was the only one. Just shows to go ya.

Hmm. I had that problem when I first installed one of the better categories fixes too but Im not sure why my fix for that didnt get copied with the template. Anyway, it is the same fix steel rat used. Maybe I didnt include the tpl_information file.

If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.why is that?? wht ive done wrong..?:no:

This is because you are using a prefix in your database. Edit the included sql file and globally replace:

configuration_group

with

mensdesi_zc1.configuration_group

(Do that one first)

After that one do:

configuration

with

mensdesi_zc1.configuration

So you should result in things like:
DELETE FROM mensdesi_zc1.configuration_group
and
INSERT INTO mensdesi_zc1.configuration_group

This will solve your empty page problem that is occurring because it is erroring on your missing database calls.

I think this is a two thumbs up contribution.
I am not exactly a coder, but had some basic training.

How do I add to the Admin section the Attributes tab?

I have a product with brief description and underneath some sections can be configured.

The product nicely appears on the tab, however, I'd like the Attribute section under a different tab, let say "configure"

What happens now is that the Attributes show up on every page the tab opens, including the Review tab.

and this is ugly. Plus I have a dupplicate Product description tab with zero content.

Any suggestions?
