Rename "more information" and "page 2"

Hi Seethrou

Yeah...

#moreinformation.leftBoxContainer {
a color: #000;}

#moreinformationContent {
a color: #cccccc:
}

The above is how I left it after I had given up.
I had both you suggestions in prior to that and it still didn't work, then gave up with the above in place.

I will go and try it again though... thanks... be right back. :)

Re: Rename "more information" and "page 2"

ok... reuploaded the stylesheet... and now we're back to 'the links show once moused over'.

*sigh.

So here's the question....
If the other links on the page are effected when the 'a color' (hover or otherwise) why not the More Information box?

Re: Rename "more information" and "page 2"

for now drop the lines I had you add as the "more info" side box should be picking up the same behavoir as the other sideboxes without being addressed directly. As it works fine in Firefox and not in IE I do not believe its a stylesheet problem, unless there are errors that firefox is able to work around but IE can't.

Re: Rename "more information" and "page 2"

Out of desperation I tried:

#moreinformationContent a, a:link, a:visited, a:hover {
font-size: 0.9em;
color: #000000;
}

of course it didn't work.

I wonder if Ajeh would know the answer to this one. :|

Re: Rename "more information" and "page 2"

#navMainWrapper, #navSuppWrapper, #navCatTabsWrapper {

	margin: 0em;

	background-color: #abbbd3;

	background-image: url('../images/tile_back.jpg');

	font-weight: bold;

	color: #ffffff;

	height: 1%; padding-left:0.2em; padding-right:0.2em; padding-top:0.5em; padding-bottom:0.5em;

	}

put this semicolon in, I'm going through your stylesheet line by line looking for errors

Re: Rename "more information" and "page 2"

Lets try something, turn on the ezpages sidebox and then go to tools>ezpages and create a new page with the link set to show up in the side box and a sort order >0 grab the content of one of your "more info" pages and put it in the ezpage and see if the link works and the page shows. If everything works with the ezpages sidebox and links just turn off "more info" sidebox and don't use it. On my site we don't use the more info sidebox we just use the ezpages it was easier.

Re: Rename "more information" and "page 2"

Try the following only for IE and its bug.

#moreinformationContent a {
	color: red; /* the color red, just for test */
	position: relative;
	}

And please take care the page for it have 49 errors in html validation.

Re: Rename "more information" and "page 2"

Ajeh:

I'd take a minute and learn about how you can use the templates and overrides so you do not get over written on all of your customizations on your next upgrade ... :eek:

On that very subject and I know its 2007 all that but I wanted to override my 'english.php' file in the languages.

So the original file is \includes\languages\english.php

So I have created a new folder to reflect my customization -
\includes\languages\YOUR_TEMPLATE\english.php and its not reading my custom file.

I am using V zen-cart-v1.3.6-full-fileset-10272006 ( about to upgrade to 1.3.7)

Any ideas why its not reading the new overide?

Thanks
