Hey All,
One of my clients use Protx form. They make on average about £600 each day, which judging by their average transaction is about 8 orders per day.
Recently, they've had a few orders which have only gone through via Protx and not appeared on the Zen Cart admin.
"Yawn" I hear you all say, "it happens every now and then" :yuck:
It's just I'm sick of this darned client! I want to do other work besides having to hear about their problems all day!!
One suggestion we had was that their customer spent a while shopping and when it came to putting their transaction through, they'd wasted enough time and they were logged out while entering their payment details on Protx, so when they returned to the site they weren't logged in and no transactions went through.
What we tried to do to curb this was to increase the session time on our server from 24 minutes to 24 hours.
That clearly didn't sort it as I've just been notified of a missed order this morning.
I've talked to Conor (Ceon) about this and he told me this was a routine thing and a bug with Protx. I'm not disputing this, Conor's been a massive help to me and he's a top class guy.
Can anyone make any suggestions?
Does this kind of thing ever occur with Protx direct? I'm tempted to convince my boss to shell out for an SSL certificate. This client are very important to us and I think that would be the best way.
Any help, even if it involves calling me a chump, would be excellent.
Thanks,
Tom
