How do EZ-Pages work?

is it possible to get the links to sit in the MIDDLE of the ez pages bar insteads of the left??

I cannot get my EZ pages to function for external link url's. They show up as an empty internal page, with the title displayed. Of course I want an external webpage displayed....

However my settings are correct:

I typed a title, set the display on new page 'yes', applied order statusses, added the external url in the proper screen and click insert.

Do I forget something?

(I work with version 1.3.7.1)

I want to remove:
Gift Certificate FAQ
Discount Coupons
Newsletter Unsubscribe

from my ez pages but when I go to TOOLS>EZ PAGES they are not listed.

How do I delete the above pages?

How do I delete the above pages?These are not EZ Pages.. I assume you want to remove them from the information sidebox.. TONS of posts on how to do that.. Try searching the forum for these terms:

Hi,

I'd like to add an image to the title of the ezpages in my left sidebox.

Using the firefox web developer, I can see that the title is under #ezpagesheading .leftboxheading and also I can see that the title gets its style from h3 in the css.

I don't know how to put all this information together to add the image.

Any help out there?

Updated to add that I managed to get the image up there, by placing it under h3.leftboxheading. But now I can't seem to figure out how to remove the text heading.

I'll report back if I can figure this one out.

I put the image at .leftboxheading
I added "display: none" at h3.leftboxheading
and I reset the padding at .centerboxcontent to accomodate the length of the image.

I usually figure things out as soon as I ask. It's a zen law.

Try it with CSS to set up look of EZ pages.

What does CSS stand for?

I read all the way to page 14 of this thread, but is seems I have not found my answers to my issues.

I created new page called "Portfolio" with EZ pages, I got the link to display but it was on the top of my "Information" sidebox, and so does "My Account" page.

Also the "Portfolio" was linked to "Page not found", what did I do wrong here?

is there a way to move "Portfolio" and "My Account" to "Information" sidebox?

This is not a silly question. The answer is superb information. I worked around it by using a popular commercial HTML RAD tool and using the external linking. The drawback to my method is that I have to adjust the colors of my external pages manually as my Zen Cart pages are using the CSS in the Zen Template. The other issue as mentioned in the answer and on the FAQSs tutorial is exteranl HTML editors do add additonal information that must be removed.

How about to show contents of all EZ pages at once, by pressing a single button?
Could that be done from the admin?

I've searched everywhere to get the answer to this as I'm new to ezpages.
My first 2 pages (ones an external link & ones a links page) have showed up ok in the header menu but the next 2 are showing. all are enabled but can't figure out why they'r not working.

Also there a layered style navigation for ez pages?
