There is money to be made in the open source world, but you're going about it the wrong way - but that's not a discussion for this thread.

How did you go about making the static top header and footerUh, that's a tad embarassing. We used old fashioned frames as that was the best available to us when built the original site.

However, we're currently rebuilding it better, adding all the recent template changes, and moving it to a much faster server. I'll post back here when that's all done.

The IC_academe theme will not load for me, I just get a blank page, i can select any of the other themes and they seem to work, but not that one.

I am using opera 11.51 on Vista (if it helps at all)

You are right. Thanks for pointing it out.

I don't know what's made that wonky. However, we're in the process of migrating and upgrading the site and have already updated all the template sand added lots of new one, so rather than holding that up by going back to fix up the old site, we'll continue to focus those efforts we can spare on getting the new site completed.

As Zen Cart 1.5 has now been released for production sites, I'm pleased to be able to announce that the free template demos are now running on 1.5 too.

In practice, there are little or no changes required for 1.3 templates to run under 1,5, so the run just fine on the new version.

For some reason the page: http://(sorry, site offline)/ is not working. I worked for me this morning and I viewed 3 templates then, it stopped working. Is it my computer and how do I fix it? Or is it the site is down?

No problems accessing from here and no problems reported with the server on which it's running.

The Blue Strip Basic template is messed-up on the demo site. Just noticed the problem as I tested this template sometime ago and am thinking of re-downloading and re-testing. (My main problem before: IE's compatability view also messed-up this template; hope that perhaps it's now corrected....)

This interesting and elegant template has two choices for the drop-down menu. (Probably looks best as single column site, but it can show three columns and also looks nice.)

I had similar problem with drop-down choices, but don't recall solution. However, in demo's case, it seems to be generating products, not just categories.

I had same problem as on demo site, until I installed the included sql patch.

Original IE compatability issue still exists; will have to look for my old fixes to extent I had them. See old post on this template for more fixes:

Actually, this template needs some work before can be used and I'd recommend a warning on demo site.

Blue Stripe Basic, IMO, is still not ready for live use. Went back to simple template on secondary site that totally works, although could maybe use image make-over.

Downloads aren't made from demo system for which this the support thread. That system sends you back to this site for to download the templates.

So most likely your problem was linked to the deployment of the new (and rather good) upgrade to this site. I'm not having any problems at all downloading, so I suspect you just caught it at the wrong moment.

to your Zen Templates site.

Hi, I've been trying to access (sorry, site offline) for several days now and I keep getting a The connection was reset error. Is the site down? Or is it just uber busy?

@wtashby Peter and I are in the process of transferring ongoing support of the site, and it looks like we fell out of sync. It's my fault, and we'll have the site back online as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience!
