OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Can anyone confirm that the "Refund" button works for the credit card orders with Paypal Payment Pro or Authorize.net?

Or is there a different method? Say a customer clicked the checkout button twice, what will you do? If its offline CC processing, its not an issue since you manually process the CC but if its using payment pro or authorize.net it will charge the customer twice...

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

if we see the super orders 2.0 pages.
http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=257

we can see that this is for zen cart 1.37

is there any estimated date when it will fully support version 1.38
and also prepare for version 1.4

and maybe we can submit suggestions here too. to make it better.

Thanks

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

topcat24:

Have you read the readme file that comes with super orders and did you change the orders.php?

here's what my ISP says:

By looking at the super mod within your cart it appears the super orders do not have the authorize.net's new variables needed to run properly on 1.3.8.

That said, you will have to wait till a new release is available or have a developer update it.

There is nothing we can do at this point.

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Way back on page 40 this was delt with:

From a new order paid by PayPal 'Express I try and print the order and I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method super_order::get_admin_notes() in E:\www\admin\super_data_sheet.php on line 262

Problem is that the cure way back in January 2007 was to change line 262 to start with <?php instead of just <? and the latest version I downloaded yesterday already has <?php $so->get_admin_notes(); ?>

Any clue how to fix this?

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

This what I have:

258 <td><?php echo zen_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '1', '10'); ?></td>
259 </tr>
260 <? /* 261 <tr> 262 <?php $so->get_admin_notes(); ?>
263 <td><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">
264 <tr>
265 <td class="printHeaderContent"><strong><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_ADMIN_NOTES . TEXT_WARN_NOT_VISIBLE; ?></strong></td>
266 </tr>

I am NOT a programmer but I think I see a problem on line 260 the <? /* seems to be unnecessary and the stuff on 262 seems to be completely out of place. If I remove both lines that page seems to work OK, but I am not sure if it is needed or not! And I am not about to start second guessing the programmer who wrote this!

Thanks for your help!

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

I have an easy one (I hope). I am still in the testing mode of my site and used Super Orders to delete several "test" orders. The orders have disappeared off the main Super Orders list, but they are still in the database. They show up in the "pending" and "processing" and on the website under "My Account", then "My Order History" you can see "-4 -3 -2 -1 0" under "show all" in the "previous orders" page.

I can see the 7 of the orders (there were 14) in the database and want to make sure I delete everything associated with these orders so I'm asking for suggestions.

Thx Sweet

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Hi,

Still can't get super orders to print out shipping labels from paypal orders.

I tried Thomasw98's suggestion but still all I am getting on the shipping label is my sender address, the order number but no customer address.

Has anyone got any ideas of why the label is not capturing the customers address as it is obviously getting the order id.

This is only for paypal orders as any shipping labels generated through my Nochex orders come out fine.

Any ideas anyone?

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Does the installation of Super Orders change where the location of the Order Update email is generated from? Typically /admin/includes/languages/english/orders.php and /admin/orders.php create the subject but I have changed those files to what I want and the email subject did not change. Also I looked in both super_orders.php files in admin and saw no mention of where to change them if in there

I don't seem to be having this problem. When I click "shipping label", I can see the sender address, the order ID and the receiver address.

Glad to see you guys have been able to carry on while I was away in the abyss. I'm equally sorry to see the problems you've had to deal with. I think I've got the majority of 'em covered. How does a new release sound? Can you give me a few days to update some documentation?

Also, for anyone who's wondering what the hell happened to me...

Well looks like order_status_email.php I found changes the subject for the "Order Status" portion. Still cannot figure out where the #order number is coming from though.

Hi BlindSide,

Nice to have you back.

I new release looks great, as always! In fact, I am still using an older version of SO which allows to edit customers' orders.

My main question would be then: will that new release allow that?

While I love ZC, I feel that the ability to edit order is really something lacking! I have about 5-10% of my orders which require adding or removing products, and using phpmyadmin is obviously not convenient...

Um, the order number comes from the order for which you are sending a an update notice. Or am I missing something?

Sanji, the currently available version has the ability to edit orders. I'm not sure what makes you think I removed that ability. Edits are broken down into sections, to make the interface more manageable. But otherwise it's the same stuff. Did I change something that you didn't like?

Can you change the number of articles, change the price, add more articles???

I was thinking that this was not possible in SO 2.0, as we discussed in January here : http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpost.php?p=311863&postcount=405

Please confirm,

Hey Blindside, welcome back. Since you will be releasing a newer version, may I suggest something?

In the 1.38 ZC, there is an added feature of Customers Comments Status. When customer has left a comment/note, there will be a yellow bubble icon indicating the customer has left a comment. Could you please incorporate that in your next release?

Thank you.

The number yes I assume it does. I was trying to change the subject of the emails the customer recieves. The default format is "Order Update #1" for example. I wanted it to say "Salty Critter Order Update No: 1 to match the Order Confirmation emails or just drop the order number all together. Without Super Orders the two files to edit would be /admin/includes/languages/english/orders.php and /admin/orders.php the second being where to change the # to No: But with Super orders you edit the /admin/includes/languages/english/order_status_email.php to change the first part but I cannot find where to change the #

When you say "articles," what are you referring to? Individual products?

I'll be doing my usual version comparison to make sure all the new features are included. No worries there.

BlindSide:

Yes, sorry, that was not very clear... After getting orders, I very often have customers calling to ask me to remove one of the products from their order, or add some. Plus, since customers also come to our show room, I sometimes offer them discounts on the spot and have to change the price of the products they order.

This is to say that for me, the ability to add, remove and change the price of ordered products is really needed.

As you wrote in README.txt file :

NOTE: The product-edit button will be the eventual home for editing product details. Unfortunately, as I have said in the forums, that functionality
is a major undertaking, and will have to wait for a future release. For
now, the page offers the ability to split an order as in earlier versions.

So I guess this option is not available. I modified the 1.x version of SO with an old "Edit Order" contrib, and this is working not too badly, perhaps because I do not use taxes nor shipping fees...

I would be so happy with this functionality!
