OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

inksale:

I have the same issue and posted it yesterday.
Haven't got an answer back yet. wonder if something is missing from the newest upload?

I ran the SQL file from the zen tools browsing to the file I unziped if it matters.

Check if you have the "Store Fax" and "Store Phone" already at line 3 and 4 in admin/configuration/my store. As i already had that (from SO1,3) the sql stopped to execute the comands after that of some unknown reason.

if yes, just paste every comand one by one from:

INSERT INTO zen_configuration VALUES (NULL, 'Enable Purchase Order Module', 'MODULE_PAYMENT_PURCHASE_ORDER_STATUS', 'True', 'Do you want to accept Purchase Order payments?', 6, 1, now(), now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array('True', 'False'), ');

It helped me...

Does anyone know how to see the order weight?? I can't see it anyware.

Also, is there a way to print packaging list with pictures?

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Everything seems to be there and working.
AFTER I BACKED UP!
I tried to run the entire SQL (from ZenCart Tools) from a brand new download this morning and it did not fix it.

I cut and past the following info directly from the same document into the Zen SQL Tool and it did the trick.
There must be something in the code preventing it from doing its thing.

Thank you !!!!!

INSERT INTO configuration VALUES (NULL, 'Enable Purchase Order Module', 'MODULE_PAYMENT_PURCHASE_ORDER_STATUS', 'True', 'Do you want to accept Purchase Order payments?', 6, 1, now(), now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(\'True\', \'False\'), ');

s_mack:

If folks can wait, I'll take this on and supply BS with the fixed code so he can roll it in. I'm going to be in the exact same situation as you, as I use many currencies, and I'm also able to find, fix, and test the code. But patience is needed because I haven't gotten that far and I'm not going to change the order or my development at this stage. I'm doing my site from scratch in V1.3 and I'm still only working on the visual templates. Otherwise, if BS or someone else wants to do it - I'm fairly certain on what I said above.
Steve, I would love it if you could help me with the currency logic. Like I said, I only use USD, so testing well for others can be tough (I'm building for a US company, so I can't spend their time on much non-related stuff). Let me know what you need (if anything), and what needs to be corrected. Though it took some wringing, thanks for bringing this one to light, Peter.

DrByte has sent me the specifics on what caused your issue, InkSale. I will be applying the fixes and issuing a new release. Not sure how I'm going to ahndle the configuration_group_id yet. I may change it and build a new upgrade script for all users regardless of version.

I also pinpointed some more of your frustration, Peter, that I can alleviate with a few changes. If it's working, go with it, but I'll try to save others similar confusion.

Thank you Sir!
I do appreciate all the time you have put into this project and all the time you spend supporting it. It has great functionality and has been well thought out.

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Hi again,

I can't edit my orders anymore :shocking: I need to delete and change the amount.

When clicking on "Edit Products" a new windows shows up that only splits the marked products to a new order. See below

Am i the only one who can't edit products?????

Also i would appreciate if some had a idea how to do to see the order weight?? I can't see it anywere.

Also, is there a way to print packaging list with pictures?

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Hi,

I have just installed Super Order. Please help with the following questions:

  1. What needs to be done to get Customers > Super Order to appear? I still only see Customers > Orders, and within this option can only update the status of orders.

  2. Does super order include features that allow customers to change orders that have not been shipped?

Thanks!

Read the Readme.txt :smartass:

  1. Change Filename Defines
    There are still parts of the admin that point to the original
    orders.php, invoice.php and packingslip.php, like the Customers page
    (Admin > Customers > Customers). You may also have other mods that
    point to these files. They all can easily utilize the Super Orders
    system by changing the filename defines for the original files.

    Open includes/filenames.php and change the defines for
    FILENAME_ORDERS, FILENAME_ORDERS_INVOICE, AND FILENAME_ORDERS_PACKINGSLIP
    to read as I have them below:

     // BEGIN Super Orders Filename Edits
     //define('FILENAME_ORDERS', 'orders');
     //define('FILENAME_ORDERS_INVOICE', 'invoice');
     //define('FILENAME_ORDERS_PACKINGSLIP', 'packingslip');

     define('FILENAME_ORDERS', 'super_orders');
     define('FILENAME_ORDERS_INVOICE', 'super_invoice');
     define('FILENAME_ORDERS_PACKINGSLIP', 'super_packingslip');
     // END Super Orders Filename Edits

    Now anytime those files are called, they will pull up the Super Orders
    versions instead (again, the comments make them instantly recognizable for
    the next time you upgrade).

getyourgameshere.com:

:ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy:

I just read this:

Order Editing

Location: Admin > Customers > Super Orders > "detail" button

Completely rebuilt the order editing features. The code that processes
the edits has also been cleaned up and streamlined (too detailed for
explanation here). I never felt comfortable with all those editable text
boxes on a single screen, so the single edit button has been replaced with
multiple edit links that prompt for editing specific parts of the order data.

You'll find four links placed around the page, each handling a specific
set of data. Those groupings are:
> contact/address data
> products
> order totals
> order status history.

Each brings up a popup window to edit
the specified information. Submitting and closing the window will
refresh the page to display your changes.

NOTE: The product-edit button will be the eventual home for editing product
details. Unfortunately, as I have said in the forums, that functionality
is a major undertaking, and will have to wait for a future release. For
now, the page offers the ability to split an order as in earlier versions.

No no no no... please how can i do to edit products????
I really need this tomorrow.... Is there any mods out there who can edit orders???

Peter

Peter, while what you posted about filename defines is not incorrect, it's not answering the question posed.

If the options are not showing properly under the Customers menu, then you haven't fully uploaded all the appropriate files.... namely the files from the Super Orders zip for the /admin/includes/boxes/...... folder.

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Peter - you can CAREFULLY edit your order manually using pypMyAdmin.

Step 1) Put your store into "down for maintanance" mode
Step 2) Make a complete backup of your database
Step 3) Start editing... CAREFULLY

To completely edit an order, you'll need to update values in ALL of these tables:

orders (change new order total and tax total)
orders_products (change each product as required... or delete if that's the case... CANT ADD)
orders_products_attributes (if you deleted a product above, make note of its ID and delete the corresponding attributes. If they are only changing attributes, change here)
orders_total (Change all the values for that order ID as required)

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP

and good luck.
