I see there's been a bug fixed regarding product sort order on a purchase in 1.3.8, that's not Super orders-related, but I'm hoping for a quick patch before I can get around to upgrading to 1.3.8a

Using Zen 1.3.8

I had the mode set to Authorize instead of Capture. But now when I go into the order and fill out the "Capture Transaction" fields, it doesn't do anything! So now I have 6 orders I can't get the money from. Please help.

I had to go into linkpoint to Capture the funds. But it should work in Zen Cart as the box states. Otherwise it's misleading to what can be done!

Dr. Byte explained how the new refund feature in 1.3.8a works (see http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100758), we've tested it fairly extensively, and it works very nicely indeed. He also said:

But if you want the refund capability for Authorize.net orders (or PayPal or Linkpoint either) you'll need to just be sure to use the original /admin/orders.php page instead of the super orders page for doing that.I've tried to revert back to the original /admin/orders.php page by removing the Super Orders edits in:

admin/includes/boxes/customers_dhtml.php
includes/filenames.php

but nothing has changed. Although the "Orders" option appears again in Admin -> Customers, it still goes to SO. Since none of the other file edits seem to point to super_orders instead of orders, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I really like almost everything about Super Orders, but the new refund feature in 1.3.8a is a BIGGIE, so Super Orders will have to go if I can't get refunds to work properly.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction, please? Thanks!

I tried installing the Super Orders mod today, and things did not go well. When I try to log in I get a screen with this:

The store works, but I am unable to access Admin. There were some other problems, too, but I can't be too specific about the missing files until I can log in and see the file names again.

Solved! Re-installed SO and changed includes/filenames.php back to what it was before SO install. Now get most of SO features, but still retain 1.3.8a's refund feature.

I have a couple of questions I hope people can help me with.

1. How can I find out which version of super orders I have installed ?

2. I have a shop on a very old version of zen. Don't gasp but version 1.2.5. No comments please. On this version I had super orders installed. This version has "adv order managment" as the title under customers, so obviously things have changed. This version allowed me to edit all parts of an order, including the description and the product individual price. In fact there was vertually nothing you could not edit on the order. When looking at the newer version this does not look possible to do. Can someone please tell me if this is the case. If this is not possible, is there another contribution that can do this ?

I've run in to a problem trying to install the Super Orders module. I uploaded the Catalog files and (as far as I can tell) ran the SQL file. Super Orders does show up as entry under the Configuration menu in the Admin console, but when I went to install the Purchase Order module, it doesn't show up as an option under Modules / Payment. What did I do wrong?

Is there any way to get the report to show product attributes as well as quantity?

I've now solved the problem, and the module appears to be working well. (My mistake was too dumb to mention here.)

I have the same problem mentioned just above. I believe I followed the instructions properly and loaded the SQL. I've verified that the entries are in the tables. I have the super orders visible under Admin -> Configuration, but I don't see the PO module, nor do I see the option under Customers (which is the main reason I wanted it). Hope you can help, and in any case thank you so much for this contribution.

PO shows up under Modules>payment and needs to be configured and turned on.

One of my stores runs VERY slowly about 70% of the time. The graphics, catalog size, etc are not the problem, because about a third of the time it runs like lightening. I have another store with an identical catalog, similar graphics, and all the same mods, and it runs very fast. I've been checking the database and there are index errors in so_refunds. The queries in this store take 7-10 seconds, as opposed to an identical store, where the queries are less than a second.

I would like to uninstall Super Orders, but I can't find the uninstall SQL. Can someone point me the uninstall instructions? They aren't in the dl package.

Anyway, here is my error. The other site that uses Super Orders does not have these duplicate indexes, and it runs very fast.

Can anyone tell me how to cancel a refund. They didn't seem to have changed the total and they're showing up in the Comments boxes (I did it twice because the first didn't seem to work) and I want to start again. THanks.

Hi I tried to install super orders and it got a little messy with some of my other custom configurations and I just really need to uninstall it right now to make my site work, I have already reloaded my backed up database and tried to manually go back and delete all the files that we are told to add in the read me, I have also erased the code that I added as instructed by the readme. I then noticed that something wasn't right because in my admin screen I still have the super orders buttons and they even still work to bring me to the Super Orders screen, How is this possible having just undid everything? how can I ensure that Super orders is throughly removed? I did just try to search for it using developers tools and found one instance in an orders.php file that still needed to be removed, however, that didn't change the whole menu thing. I'm worried that some screwup will pop up later while I am customizing my site or that the functionality of super orders will override other important functions incorrectly now that I did try to delete everything related to it, but obviously missed some major things. Did super orders create and edit more files on its own after installation? whats going on here? What should I do? how do I really uninstall it? -your help would be greatly appreciated, Thank You:huh:

You need to just print the frames individually it is an option in both IE and Firefox with the print function

I think this is a contribution with nice components like the batch-status update and the possibiltity to split orders. But there are much components not really needed. I think the most used payment in online-shops is creditcard and may be payment in advance by wiretransfer. For the booking of the payments nobody needs a zen-shop for this there is financial software, but I never found a contribution what do the order editing in the right way. The shop calculates the tax in a correct way but after the editing the tax is away and all prices are net.
Maybe that it is the way in the United States, at Germany we have to show the user what he have to pay so all prices must include the tax but no order editing contribution do that. It is possible to add products and edit the quantity but at the end you have to correct the order totals with phpMyAdmin.

I found a little bug, and in the version that I downloaded from ZC it is not fixed. The bug has to do with the customer being notified through the super_orders.php file. The customer might be notified but the database is not updated correctly. When I select to Notify Customer the email seems to be sent but there is still an X instead of sent mark.
In the admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/super_orders_functions.php file line 401 should be changed.

FROM:

  if ($notified == 'on')

TO:

  if ($notified == 'on' || $notified == '1')

Another thing might be to change the super_orders.php file to work with PayPal. When people order with Paypal the Balance Due doesn't change to Amount Applied so there is a bug there. Sorry, I didn't fix it yet.
