Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

I have my blog embedded using the Numinix method, which (more or less) makes "blog" a page on zen cart. I want to include this page with the pages that use the Zen Lightbox module, so I copied jscript_zen_lightbox.php into includes/modules/pages/blog. It didn't work.

I know that it is naive to expect that it would be that simple, but I gave it a shot. Am I on the right track? Has anyone done this successfully? Do I need to add markup to my image links inside the blog to get this to respond? Any feedback will be appreciated.

I installed Zen Lightbox v1.6.2 and it seems to be working properly in Firefox, but in IE, the light box randomly works and opens the image to the left, without the lightbox effect and I am also not able to close the image when this happens. Please help, thank you

Please provide the following so we can help you troubleshoot your issue:

• What versions of FF and IE are you testing on?
• What about Chrome and Safari? Have you tested there?
• If yes, what are the results?
• Please provide a link to the exact page that's having the issue. (Don't just post a link to your home page and make us search through your site - because we won't) :smile:

If we can't visit your site to review the code and test the page to see if we can recreate the issue and to see what happens when we do recreate it, then we're not able to help you.

The best anyone can offer without seeing the site is a guess.

Here's my best guess - try turning on compatibility mode in IE.

Hello everyone,

I currently use Zen Lightbox on my site..... and it works perfectly!

My question is this....Is there any way to use this mod to play embedded YouTube videos on my site.

It's easy to create a link to the youtube video or do a standard embed but I really like the way the lightbox presents images and would like to apply that same presentation to videos.

Any comments or input are appreciated.

If you told the person in charge of your store why you need to post the link they might not mind, you can post it with spaces to make it non active and then get the help you need.

I imported the sql through phpMyAdmin and got an error so I used the admin area and pasted all the code in & hit send without errors.

any help would be appreciated.

what does the other jquery deal with?
if this is a purchased template then yes it probably is conflicting with the query stuff the template creators installed.

If this is the classic template edited your own way then try moving the other jquery stuff out of the folder and testing it that way

Thanks for the reply the main_page is using jquery.easing.1.3.js
and calling from the homepage folder.( Its just a basic slidebox.)

I removed it completely and still no joy.

depending on the complexity of your slider there is a slider mod available here that I use for our store so that might be something to look at but

are you sure you uploaded all the files to their proper folders and installed the sql through your stores admin section?

I will double check that all the files went up.

happens to me a lot, for some odd reason even if uploaded one at a time there may be a hiccup in the internet and it gets corrupted

Hi just thought I'd ask. Is there support for this mod and the switch attribute image mod? currently they both work but if you switch the image via attribute selection the old pop up window comes up. If this was already addressed could someone redirect me, thanks.
