The template is not one from here. It's basically a butchered version of one we found on Google about three years ago. It's changed an awful lot since then.

I could probably solve the alignment issue with a bit of css play but I've set the resize transition to true and it doens't seem to do anything. The resize transitions are the only reason I'd consider upgrading our main site to the latest version. Is it a setting on one of the JS files perhaps?

To me it looks like you need to check your installation.
Your admin shows a ZLB1.6.x installation, but the files that are getting loaded on your site are ZLB1.5.
That may be where your inconsistencies are coming from.

ZLB 1.6 will say Slimbox v2.04 and it doesn't use mootools anymore.

I manually deleted all of the install files that shipped with 1.5 so I think this must be a fragment from the files I was trying to install to get motools to work alongside 1.5. I've deleted these two files now:

/includes/templates/freetemplate2/jscript/zen_lightbox_mootools_custom.js

and

/includes/templates/freetemplate2/jscript/zen_lightbox_mootools_default.js

It's working but the additional images are still offset to the left when enlarged and the transition effects still aren't working :)

Take a look now and see what you think. I'm getting this in the page source now but it's still not working:

Maybe you need to empty cache.
I'm seeing even alignment and the transitions are working fine.

That's weird, it's working now and I didn't need to clear my cache. I'm just experimenting with it now and even the transition effect is working.

Tell me, is there a way to choose different transition effects? I'm thinking the one that's on there just now isn't good enough reason to upgrade our main site to the new version

ZenLightBox 1.6.3_1.5 is released on the add-ons page.
This is only a slight modification for Zen Cart 1.5 Users.
Zen Cart 1.3.x users should continue to use ZenLightBox 1.6.2

what version of lightbox and store are you using

is the template a zencart one or a paid for template

Yes the controls do show in admin. I'm using a free zen cart template. The zen cart version is v1.3.9h and the zen lightbox is v1.6.2

it acts like it is conflicting with maybe another js file do you have one installed from another mod

have you gone to the server files...and reupped the ones from the zip...that is the version I use too

did you manually edit the file--additional images one I think?

maybe some code got left out??

I didn't see the page while you had it up, but I don't see any other js files that would be conflicting.

Like DarkAngel suggests, I would just re-upload the files from the zip.
If you are still seeing the admin panel, you should not need to re-run the install.zip file.

I've been setting up a demo wholesale site to test out modules and all going well so far. Wanted A lightbox addon and yours seemed to be the best. Followed the instructions to the letter.

Prolblem occured when running the SQL Script. If ran in Zen-Cert is errors and also when run direct in MySQL it also errors.

I have attached the failed run in MySQL as it gives more information on the error.

This is of course a fresh install and not an upgrade. I have downloaded the lastest version of the lightbox script from 'Zen-Cart' today.

The error suggests that it's already installed.
Do you remember what the error was when you ran it the first time?
Do you see the zen light box menu in Admin>Configuration ?

I believe it may have been installed with a Template I was looking at.. This might of caused the issue.. but I do not have a light box menu.

When running the script in Zen-Cart I get the following message
