Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

Hi there,

Quick update...

I believe it was installed with a theme from earlier today so...

I used the uninstall script that comes with lightbox and that ran fine which tells me it was already installed.

After that I re-ran the isntall SQL through Zen and that has gone in ok and now I have the light box menu in config.

However...

When clicking on the image.. the scroll bar in Firefor went a little nuts and I notices the images has appeared in the bottom left hand corner.. only the top right is showing so I guess this can be adjusted somewhere?

That's a new one to me.
Its very hard for me to tell without being able to view the source.
Will you be running online soon?

Hi niestudio,

Thats ok. I understand it would be good to see the code to troubleshoot the issue. I will be adding a few more elements to the system to make sure they all work together and then upload it online to get issues troubleshooted.

I will keep this thread posted. thank you so far for your help

You can try just re-uploading the files to make sure they all got transferred.

Sorry if this has been covered before but I did try and search a bit and skimmed through a ton of pages....

Anyways, sure this is simple but when clicking on a picture and the lightbox comes up, is there a way to have when you click outside of the box it will close, instead of having to click the "close" button at the bottom?

There is a 'close on overlay click' admin setting.
Admin>configuration>zen lightbox

Hello, I installed the Zen Lightbox folder, checked the precence of all the files in the right directories and run the sql commands. Still I don't find the Admin > Configuration > Zen Lightbox option. Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

What version of zen cart, what version of zen lightbox?
is ZLB working on the front end?

I use Zen Cart 1.5.0 with an andover_modern template. The ZLB version is : 1.6.3_1.5.

At this moment Zen Cart operates on a local host in a Wamp test environment.

In the front end it doesn't do a thing. A new window opens when an image is enlarged, so no Zen light box is openend.

Not really sure where to tell you to start.
If it's not working on the front end OR the back end, I have to assume the files are not installed correctly. Did you rename all of the 'your_template' folders to match the andover directory name?

Changed the language from dutch to english and think i solved the problem :blush:.

Oops, the Zen Lightbox setting page is empty, and the front end still has not changed. I'm sure all the folders are renamed and the files are all copied.

try running the uninstall.sql command into your admin area and then re-run the install.sql

Ran across similar issues as mentioned above. Configuration stuff not visible in the zen lightbox menu in admin.

Using the zencart "SQL patch" tool in admin kept giving errors of duplicate entry for configuration_key, but running it through phpMyAdmin worked.

And now I just get a new window when clicking on the image. Will try to trace the problem down.

Atleast I don't get any javascript errors.

This is a fresh 1.5.0 install with very light mods to templates, that shouldn't affect this.
