USPS does not work for me "We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable..."

Call your hosting company and make sure that the ports are open for out going and incoming on port 80 and port 443 ...

Uninstall the USPS shipping module and reinstall it then configure it for the Production server with your USPS Web Tools User ID again ...

I have tried that, to no avail. Becoming very frustrated with trying to get the new USPS shipping module to function. I am running Zen Cart 1.5.0.
I have the latest usps.php files in the correct locations. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, tried different zip codes, everything. My user id is activated. I have unique sort orders.

My latest debug file is:

Sure would like to enable USPS shipping. Right now I am running zone rates with no problem.

I have both USPS module set to true and zone rates set to true, but all you will see is zone rate.
If you proceed to checkout you will also see the very typical message "We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable.. "

select Catalog from the dropdown and click Search ...

I have change the sort order so that none of my options are the same and none are zero. I have verified I am changed over to the production server twice. I have checked this with using just that one shipping module and had it with all the options i want to use. Still get

"We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.

Before when I used this I had to enter my password as well is that an issue? Also this is what I was sent from USPS was

I just tried your store, for an AZ zip all I got was walk in, for a MI zip I got walk in and two UPS possibilities - nothing for USPS and no error. USPS aside, there seems to be a problem with the zones too?

Your shipping rate estimator is a popup and it is SLOW. On my two sites it part of the page and is instantaneous. Is it slow for you too?
I just finished setting up a second store earlier in the week. The only URL I put in was the production.shippingapis....., not the secure.... - don't know if that's an issue. I also didn't put in any password anywhere. It came in the email but wasn't needed on the ZC.
I'm using the same usps module you are, zone shipping is turned off.

All modules that I do not use have been removed. I am only using three and they are green: Free shipping, USPS, Zone rates

Yes, if you go to your My Account and hit edit on an address ... you can see the issue quickly on how the state is goobered up ... you need those added to adding/editing accounts and for guest on shipping estimator ...

I added the code to sylesheet.css in my template.
Went to My Account and hit edit an address. Edits are made with no problem.

USPS rates are still not available and still get message "We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable.."

Installed and enabled UPS shipping module. Strange results with UPS.
As a guest, UPS shipping does not show up as an available shipping option.
When signed-in to a registered account:
Shopping Cart does not show UPS as an available option.
But after hitting "go to checkout", and then on Step 1 page, the UPS rates are quoted and I am able to select the different options.
Strange, but hopefully this information will help you in helping me. I hope so.
