A little experience sometimes makes you forget how thorough you instructions have to be.
I would always recommend a XAMPP installation (or MAC equiv) a My SQL backup and a second read of the instructions:lamo:.
How do I know? I made mistakes too.

Hello,
I managed to add the tabbed product info. Unfortunately it seems to have problems working with IH 2. But anyway I will post that on the tabbed forum.
My question is about the product info layout. I arranged the placement of the tabs below the image and product details. I would like to move my my cart buttons directly below my details and attributes. But...I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated. I am posting a link but the site does have adult products. The link I am posting is only for lingerie.
Product Link
Thanks in advance!

New to cherry zen. Just switched from niffty and noticed some changes.
I placed spaces in between my paragraphs but they are not showing up in cherry template. I used <p>. It's still there in my text. Any reason why it is being ignored? Also, not all <p> commands are being ignored. Scroll to the bottom and you will notice how the text are bunched together.

Hi, sorry to bug you again!
I really like the top right menu links which are set up for Home, Shopping Cart and Checkout, but how do I change these links or add new ones?
Thank you

I am having some browser problems with my site, which can be viewed here at www.miss-crow.com/shop.
In Flock, Safari and Firefox, the site displays properly and there are no issues. Opera is also more or less fine.
In Netscape, all is ok, except that where the background should be white behind the page content, it is not and displays only the actual page color background, which is black.
In Internet Explorer, the background is fine, but the right column goes beyond the width of the header and right column and kind of hangs out over in the black area.
Can someone help me out?
Thanks.

I have download cherry_zen template, when its viewed in IE7 it looks ok.
when I view it in foxfire, I get the blue background. https://www.weezeesgifts.com
I'm not good with PHP so I haven't changed any coding. except the width. Before I downloaded I moved to a new host and server, then upgrade from 1.3.0 to 1.3.8a. lot of my boxes are not working I turned them on and they don't showup. Tried to add contact us in the header it didn't work either. It showed up in black text.

hi all,
where/how do you change the text and what it links to for the rollover tabs in the nav header?
thanks.

Ah, yes!!
You know, I saw that when I initially read through the readme, but then when I followed the installation instructions step-by-step, I totally missed that one!
You're absolutely right--operator error!
Thanks, Susie
Awesome template, by the way.

I have just done a fresh install of Zencart 1.3.8a and the cherry_zen template. I also want to add the image handler contribution.
In reading the documentation for the image handler it says to check for duplicate files first before uploading the files. I HAVE found duplicate files (gifs, etc.) on my server so I haven't as yet uploaded the image handler files.
I know the demo of cherry_zen has the image handler working in it. How was this done without over-writing existing files?
Thanks to one and all for Zencart and all the great contributions (including cherry_zen!)

Has any one else had this problem. Or can someone help met to correct it.

Always test in firefox because IE seems to ignore page errors. My guess is that you have accidently deleted a </div> somewhere and so your page is not formatted correctly. Perhaps use firebug in firefox to see if all your <div> are closed?
Does anyone know how I can put a solid banner picture in cherry zen, instead of having a little logo in the top left? I want a solid image as a header.

The documentation that comes with Cherry_zen tells you how. Read that.

Hi,
Is there a way I can apply an image to the "background", the area behind the main site box (where the shadow is)...If that makes sense.
Thanks
Pete

Hello,
Yes you can!! Very easy.
Go to includes/templates/cherry_zen/css/stylesheet.css
Now find this code:
/* other background color or image changes /
body {
background:#84A4C1; / main site background color, blue default */
}
Next remove the color and insert a picture link:
/* other background color or image changes /
body {
background:url("../images/logo.gif"); / main site background color, blue default */
}
Remember to load the picture to your server first.
I hope this helps you.
