no other image contributions added only currency updater

lightbox isnt displaying at all just another window opens?

I ahve checked config settings and they are same as other zen cart installs that display the slimbox as expected?

I have the same problem. Have you found a solution? I have been combing the threads, but I cannot find any solutions. If this is not working, do you know of a good alternative?

As for the issue with blank pages (as demonstrated on http://www.montereybayimages.com/Cat...roducts_id=181), this does not appear to be a Fual Slimbox or Image Handler issue at all..:no:

You are using the document product type. So the product detail pages are the ones specific to the document product type, and I've got a feeling that the REAL issue lies within some code on the pages for this particular product type. To that end I suggest posting a separate question in the forum so that you can get help that will resolve your real issue..

I did that by asking how may images be entered into the pages indicated below. This is alluded to in the Fual Slimbox Admin section, but the process is not explained.

"If true, all product images on the following pages will be displayed within a lightbox:

• document_general_info
• document_product_info
• product_free_shipping_info
• product_info
• product_music_info
• product_reviews
• product_reviews_info
• product_reviews_write"

It is probably simple for the Zen Cart knowledgeable, but not so apparent for a new Zenner.

After reading through all 43 pages of posts I still can't find answers to my questions...
-What is the format for saving pictures so that they will be recognized by slimbox? For instance, I have a picture I want to display on the product page, and another to display in the lightbox once the user's clicks the product image. svampola has done an admirable job of trying to explain how this works, but I still am not getting it.
-When I click on the image on my product page the lightbox pops up with two identical images in the slideshow. As I said in the last bullet, I would like a different image to display in the lightbox, and do not want a slideshow composed of two identical images. Any idea how to fix this one?

Just a quick question:

have just installed & appears to be working well in FF & IE; however, a small intermittent problem - occasionally (in both browsers) an image is not evident at product description page level, and my front page category images are also not evident. If I refresh, all is well.

I must say though, I am on 'dial up speed' internet atm as we've been 'shaped' for the remainder of our billing cycle - so could that be a reason? Or am I totally on the wrong track?

Has anyone else encountered this?

There's no "fix" for this as much as it is a custom code request.. Fual Slimbox simply does not work in this fashion.. As far as I know ALL of the light box modules for Zen Cart all work in a similar fashion. When you click the main product image, in stead of showing a pop-up window with the large image displayed, it shows the product image in a light box display. If you have additional product images, you can page through all the images associated for that product..

Does anyone know why Fual Slimbox is cutting off the image and the Close text doesn't show up? See attached graphics.

I have imagehandler 2 loaded as well and both worked prior to installing a 3d menu carousel. Even removing the carousel did not fix the problem.

Lightbox 1.5 (or Slimbox) & Link Manager 3.0 DO NOT WORK TOGETHER!!!!

Many other posts have said the same thing, yet none have been answered (that I can see) in either support forum. The Zen Cart community needs an Add-On Incompatibility List somewhere. If I can't find one, I'm going to start one myself.

I've had Lightbox running smoothly for a while now. If the Link Manager 3.0 Layout Box is enabled, Lightbox will no longer work at all - larger image simply comes up in it's own browser window.

I have spent hours trying to determine why, as both add-ons have no files or database elements in common that I can see?? I suppose it is a conflicting variable somewhere that both use, but I'm a rather novice programmer.

I've seen this problem mentioned by other people in both the Lightbox/Slimbox and Link Manager support threads, but I don't see any resolution anywhere.

For now, I am forced to leave Link Manager turned off so that Lightbox will continue to work. Very sad, as I like both add-ons. :no:

Using Cherry Zen template that appears to be working OK with this version.

Originally I was on 1.3.8 without any issues with the fual lightbox.
Expanded the pics wonderfully with the transparent gray as expected.

Now with the upgrade, I get the larger picture, but it doesn't grey out the background transparently like it used to. Anyone else having this issue or know where I might look?

file size was different, not sure what I did originally, but this fixed my issue. Seems to be working OK now. WHEW! :blush:

I have created my share of Zen Carts (I am working on number 6). Generally, I use images from my PC to upload to the cart via the product listing page.
I am working with another company (which will be dropshipping for me) to create them a Zen Cart based site. They use another platform for 99% of their ecommerce (Channel Advisor) so that it can manage inventory, post ads to eBay & Amazon, etc.
While creating their site they informed me that they didn't want to upload images (they would have to be downloaded en masse from Channel Advisor to a PC, then uploaded to the Cart), but would rather use external image links. I researched this and found how to do it using Easy Populate mod, and it worked wonderfully (except for a few squished images).
My problem is, now they want a lightbox installed. I installed Fual Slimbox on other sites, and it has been working perfectly. Unfortunaltel, slimbox, out-of-the-box, doesn't seem to work with external images.
Does anybody know what changes I can make to make this work with external images? If it doesn't work then they don't want the site, and I don't get a site that easily integrates with theirs, so I won't be able to sell online.
I am average when it comes to PHP skills, above average in HTML and CSS. I tried changing some code in the slimbox files that referrenced the images, but all it did was mess up the site.

I've converted my version of Fual Slimbox to work with the Mootools 1.2 version of Slimbox (Slimbox 1.71).

Is there anywhere I should post the modifications?
