banswidthjunkie,
it's perfect, thank you very much!! I can sub the images for "next" and "prev" so the translation is full.
Thanks a lot!
Oh sorry, I hope you don't mind me saying it, Italian is written with just one L!

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

Welp - I think i solved the "Operation Aborted" problem...

but celebration may be a little premature... until I try it at my buddies house who continuously has this problem ALL the time!

Anyway - it really was a timing issue. I did not change ANY of the code... just the order that it loaded.

The key is to remove the load-up of the slimbox javascripts (slimbox, mootools, fual...) to the "end" of the page... or at least under the Product sections...

The file, located in /www/includes/modules/pages/product_info
as file: **jscript_z_slimbox.php **(oh - I put that letter z in there to play with order... it's not going to matter)

has this code:

<?php // copyright info... require_once( DIR_WS_CLASSES . 'fual_slimbox.php' ); $fualSO = new FualSlimboxOptions(); $fualSO->jscript(); ?>

So what I did was essentially get rid of the file (rename it):
mv jscript_z_slimbox.php jscript_z_slimbox.php.sav

and I put that code snippet (above) into:
/www/includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATENAME/common/tpl_footer.php

so that it appeared around the IP ADDRESS section (or there-abouts...)

<!--bof-ip address display --> <?php if (SHOW_FOOTER_IP == '1') { ?> <div id="siteinfoIP"><?php echo TEXT_YOUR_IP_ADDRESS . ' ' . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; ?></div> <?php } ?> <!--eof-ip address display --> <!--eof-slimbox - move to footer so it would load in the right order --> <?php require_once( DIR_WS_CLASSES . 'fual_slimbox.php' ); $fualSO = new FualSlimboxOptions(); $fualSO->jscript(); ?> <!--bof-slimbox - move to footer so it would load in the right order --> <!--bof-banner #5 display --> <?php if (SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET5 != '' && $banner = zen_banner_exists('dynamic', SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET5)) { if ($banner->RecordCount() > 0) { etc etc etc...

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

Alright - I think that essentially solved it.

But I think I would like it to NOT load for EVERY page (which is why I'm betting that Banswidth put it under includes/modules/pages/product_info)

We ONLY want it to load when a product is displayed...

What I'm thinking it load that code snippet into:
/www/includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATENAME/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php

Or somewhere like that...

maybe... will let you know what I find.

So to RECAP: I have not "changed" any of the code. Just the order where it gets loaded. This should probably make it easier for folks when they upgrade latter (when banswidth adds new features like he did this week)

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

alrighty - that last idea also seems to work

/www/includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATENAME/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php

put this code snippet at the END of this file - under the </div> - so that the javascript gets loaded OUTSIDE the DIV - just like the suggestion at MicroCrap:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/927917

.
.
.

<!--bof Form close--> </form> <!--bof Form close--> </div> <!--eof-slimbox - move to footer so it would load in the right order --> <?php require_once( DIR_WS_CLASSES . 'fual_slimbox.php' ); $fualSO = new FualSlimboxOptions(); $fualSO->jscript(); ?> <!--bof-slimbox - move to footer so it would load in the right order -->

.
.
.

And then RENAME:
/www/includes/modules/pages/product_info/jscript_slimbox.php

(to something WITHOUT a PHP extension, or it will still load! All .js and .php files load, as per the html_header.php file)

Pleased to hear it. Sorry about the misspelling. Until I post a new version you can use the attached file to correct this.

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

Eeek... its in a "few" places...

./includes/modules/pages/product_reviews_write/jscript_slimbox.php
./includes/modules/pages/product_music_info/jscript_slimbox.php
./includes/modules/pages/document_product_info/jscript_slimbox.php
./includes/modules/pages/product_reviews/jscript_slimbox.php
./includes/modules/pages/document_general_info/jscript_slimbox.php
./includes/modules/pages/product_reviews_info/jscript_slimbox.php
./includes/modules/pages/product_free_shipping_info/jscript_slimbox.php

Maybe an link (or a shortcut for you M$soft folks) would have been good here... just a thought... it would certainly make it footprint smaller... (will ZIP copy them as links, or follow them?) You could use TAR and gzip...

Have one file and then all these would just "point/link" to it...

For my solution, though, its a little more hairy... I would have to put the snippet into each of these TPL files... that would actually suck

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

well - I really hope that all helps someone!! I'm sure banswidth has me on ignore, by now! ;) So I don't know if he's gettin' all this. If it means anything, sorry for whatever happened between us... All I really wanted to do was make it all work in the end... without having to get rid of anything else I was doing...

If anyone wants to check out some of my progress - it's TOTALLY in beta right now... graphics will all come later!!!

https://www.whereisellstuff.com

try adding something to your cart! I have a little nifty...

Eventually I want to make a "sliding" cart, that kinda comes out of the top of the page or somewhere...

Ha ha dalopey you are real spammer! You give commentary on every move, soon you will be posting consistency of your morning stool.

I think "solution" is terrible hack, problem is with tree munu not lighbox, but you mess up lightbox to fix problem in tree menu. Crazy guy! :bangin:

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

yeah - I guess that was spammy...

but it did FIX it - and I'm not really leaning towards a hack... this behavior has been seen in this module with other applications as well...

If anyone else has problems like what I had, feel free to ask me what I did (if you didn't understand my SPAM!!) ;)

milobloom:

I am having an odd result, I am getting the product ID number next to my image.
http://www.allforyourwedding.com/~noah/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=181_186&products_id=1069

How can I fix this?
Looking at your code, you have zen lightbox 1.3 installed and to stop js errors this overrides slimbox. You can try the ZL 1.4 patch, but no guarantees. Otherwise uninstall ZC 1.3 before installing Slimbox, and that should sort out your problem.

Are you using an old version of zencart? if so update to the latest version before doing anything else.

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

I installed the mod, and I tend to follow directions very carefully, but the additional images do not load. Slimbox looks like it will load and then the loading icon (circular dashes lighting up) just stays on the page. You can't close the page unless you back out of it using your browser back button.

What file would I have to check to remedy this.

I also do not have a very moded cart. I've only added the Google Analytics mod and that's it.

I should also mention that I do not have Image Handler installed. Is this part of the problem?

You probably haven't named your large images according to the horribly complex rules of zencart images. If it fails to load the image it means it doesn't exist.

When you put your cursor over the additional image where does the link point to? You need to put your large image in that location.

Got a link to the site?

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

Hello, I want to try this mod but am baffled by the instructions. The fourth one says "Copy the "includes" directory over to your ZenCart root directory".

This would overwrite the zen cart includes folder and obviously destroy zen cart. What am I missing?

Thanks.

Re: Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

What you are missing is that it will only overwrite files of the same name, not the entire directory, everything else is preserved. Obviously is a dangerous word.
