Display all categories+products on one page

I believe I have found a way to do this without using the files in this thread. This is a multi copy to move,delete and link products. The way that I did it, first I had already created a few top categories and some subcats and populated with a few products. I am working on an adult site with lingerie and toys. So, I will explain using the "mild" categories. My top category is "For Her" with subcat "Intimates" subsubcat "Pantyhose and Stockings" and then had that again subcategorized with "Pantyhose" and 'Stockings" I decided to make my top category, "For Her", the master category. Using the multi-copy plug-in, I first moved all of my products from 'PantyHose" and "Stockings" to "For Her" I then linked those products to "Pantyhose and Stockings", then linked the pantyhose to "Pantyhose" and the stockings to "Stockings".

Now, you don't necessarily have to move your products to a new master category, that's up to you, but just link all of your products to the top category, and you should be fine. Also, using this mod, I am able to put and link products into top categories that already have subcategories.

I am still working on getting subcategory headings at the top of the categories pages, but I believe I have read in another thread, Listing Subheadings, may work for me. Either way, I have most of the battle won.

I hope this helps anyone else trying to achieve these results.

Sorry, In my last post, I forgot to include that I also linked my products to "Intimates" THEN "Pantyhose and Stockings", basically,I linked them to any category that I wanted the product to show up under when that category was clicked.

I originally posted this in a different thread and was directed here so I will post my solution here:

Say I have a category called Ink, then I have subcategories Red, Blue, Yellow, etc. When I click on Ink now it shows the name and link of each subcategory. What I would like is to click on Ink and it shows all the products in all the subcategories for ink. It would look similar to clicking on the All Products link but instead of showing all products it only shows all products in the subcategories for that category .

I didn't realise there were two different mods being discussed in this thread. I used the zip file in post #29

By the way here I attach the mod from yellow so you can check it out if you dont have it yet.

When I installed it I got a white blank page and could not see any of the site. I figured this was probably because it was made for an older version of Zencart so after a little digging around in the code I found a line of code that was different but similar in the header.php and after I changed this it all seems to be working.

Here is what I changed:

In includes/modules/pages/index/header_php.php

Find this line of code;

require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . zen_get_index_filters_directory($typefilter . '_filter.php'));

and replace it with this:

require(zen_get_index_filters_directory($typefilter . '_filter.php'));

Everything now seems to be working as it should, in 1.5.1 (I don't know much about the difference between the different versions so if you know of any other files that should have been changed please let me know).

Here is how it works, I have a category called Ink, then I have subcategories Red, Blue, Yellow, etc. When I click on Ink now it shows all the products in all the subcategories for ink.

I have installed this module in parent category page. It is showing all sub-category and associated products. What I want is it should only display only subcategory and product of particular parent category. for eg:

Parent category 1
sub cat 1
product 1 product 2 product 3 product 4

sub cat 2
product 1 product 2 product 2 product 4

and so on. I will appreciate if someone help me out with this!!

2> display all (top) categories on main page then subcate on center box when clicking top cate
