Gallery Integration with Zencart

I checked your store after you emailed me and it does not actualy log you out, what seems to happen is you login, goto any category and the header area displays the logout link, view the gallery and it instead displays the login/out link, but if you then go right back to another category you will see your still logged in.

Im not entirey sure why this is happening, my login and such are actually embedded inside the information box and only appear when someone puts something into the cart otherwise they remain hidden.

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

Hello I am having trouble trying to put any kind of xml photo gallery on my zen cart store. I uploaded the entire folder structure keeping everything in the same order therefore it should work correctly. I have a flash banner on my main page and it seems to work correctly. What is very strange though is if i go to the url where the swf file is it will work perfectly so i know everything is in the correct place. It is accessing the xml and the images. Please does anyone have any advice or a better place to get help on this issue?

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

Nice mod!

thanks!

Quick Q:

Is there any way to specifiy a file name when we upload a photo? Would be a nice alternative to a photo file called something like "93faa74b3a9b301deb147f8b5ba821c0.jpg" :-)

thanks,
gabstero

I know that your question was awhile back but I had this same issue today and it was the path in the admin/config file that seemed to be the problem. I just had to adjust that and then I was able to upload!

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

New problem though if anyone is tracking this thread , onthe page where I have included the gallery ( page_2 ) my sideboxes and footers are throwing errors

Notice: Use of undefined constant MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_GV_STATUS - assumed 'MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_GV_STATUS'

I tried adding that error msg reporting thing to application bottom , that didn't seem to do anything. I would really like this mod to work , any help appreciated

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

Anyone that has any info on either the error or the installation of this would be great. it seems its really the only choice I have in the mods section so really would like to get it to work.

you can see it in action at http://www.bodycast-studio.co.uk/newshop/index.php?main_page=page_2

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

Hi

This does not look like a gallery issue but looks more like a Gift Vouchers sidebox issue. Try turning off the sidebox with Gift vouchers in it and see if that removes the error.

The error does only seem to appear in the side column, and not the main page hence the likelyhood its not the gallery

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

thanks for the reply , turning off some of the sideboxes got rid of some of the errors , there still seem to be errors in the ez pages footer and this one > Notice: Object of class queryFactoryResult could not be converted to int in /home/bodycast/public_html/newshop/includes/application_bottom.php on line 16

I have turned gift certificates off so not sure why that is still showing , you can see the erors in more detail here http://www.bodycast-studio.co.uk/newshop/index.php?main_page=page_2

Cheers

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

I was using JGallery for a while. Recently I installed the word-Press/ZenCart Integration. This interfered with JGallery. Because JGallery uses a ? to start most of its address's with, the word-Press blog somehow decides that any address that starts with a /? i.e. (mydomain.com/?main_page=quilt_gallery&JGALL_DIR=) should be sent to the blog, instead of correctly moving to the next gallery page.

I believe that the '? in the beggining of the address' problem is the same problem that PLOGGER is having on zenCart.

I am thinking that if the address could be set to: /index.php?main_page - that might correct the problem. However, I have no idea what code to edit inside of JGallery or PLOGGER to make them display the index.php before the question mark?

~ If you can help me that would be great. Unfortunately I don't have a link to show you an example of what was happening because I am just linking to the external gallery (PLOGGER) now, instead of trying to include the file into the zenCart flow.

I think I have explained what was happening well enough above so that you might be able to make a suggestion.

The PLOGGER uses a database connection and JGallery does not.

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

I have installed the mod and it appears to be working fine except that I am getting two errors. One error on the right side of the screen.

(Notice: Undefined property: queryFactoryResult::$fields in /home1/atfbille/public_html/includes/functions/banner.php on line 150). It says that this same error is on lines 136,139,140 and 150.

And the other error I am getting at the footer is

(Notice: Undefined variable: var_linksList in /home1/atfbille/public_html/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_ezpages_bar_footer.php on line 19).

You can view the page at
http://www.atfbilletparts.com/index.php?main_page=page_3

This is a very nice mod. Please help with these errors.

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

I think I've installed correctly but I get this on the page when I go to Admin | Tools | Gallery Image Uploader

Browse file to upload to Gallery

[HERE IT DISPLAYS THE FIELD TO UPLOAD, BROWSE, UPLOAD BUTTONS]

allowTypes();?>

_im_status == true) { echo '

Your image has been uploaded and should now be visible in your gallery!
'; } elseif (!empty($im->errorStr)) { echo '
'.$im->errorStr.'
'; } else { } ?>

If I attempt to browse and then hit upload it goes to a Page cannot be displayed.

:dontgetit

Any suggestions?

I too am having sidebox errors with this mod and would love to fix that so I can use it :)

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

Thanx for that link, is going through your host the only way to turn off strict error reporting? I know already that I don't have access to the php.ini file and have no idea how else to go about it lol And what about if you actually needed it to determine other errors down the track? Is strict error reporting something that's needed on site or not needed at all? Sorry if my questions are stupid LOL

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

Ok, I contacted my hosting, and for anyone else having these php warnings displayed, you can add this line to your .htaccess

php_value display_errors "Off"

Hope that helps some others cos it worked like a charm for me :)

Re: Gallery Integration with Zencart

Turning off strict error reporting for application_bottom.php did get rid of the error at the bottom of page. I have tried the same thing in several different places hoping to get rid of the error on the right side of the screen. So far my attempts have failed. Could someone tell me where to turn off strict error reporting to get rid of these errors.
