I just started up Adwords and now see that I have two clicks. I look at supertracker and there is not a referrer from Adwords.

I called Google and they say I should use Google Analytic., but I do and there is not a click there either but their info is 24hrs delayed. So now I have to wait before I can complain to Adwords that I had bad clicks.

My question is has anyone had issues with Google and if I get a click coming from Google ads what the referrer should look like. I do like the super tracker over the Google Analytic.

I have a problem on our site www.zepto-expert.nl with Supertracker downloaded from the zen-cart download site, combined with Zencart latest version 1.3.8. Installation is all fine.
When running reports none of the search keywords seem to work, while showing last 10 visitors for example is fine.

I have only 1 small thing that is not showing correctly.
My visitor country stats does not show a country, shows 100% on one line and each time I look the line is a different colour.

I have supertracker installed for the zencart, but Zen-Cart is installed in mysite.com/shopping. So my question is - is there a way of cofiguring supertracker to keep stats on my main site i.e. mysite.com as well as the Zen-Cart part of the site?

I am having some serious problems in getting this to work, everything is installed correctly - I think.

The databse table is there, the reports supertracker is there, I can view all of the potential results like visitors or refering sites etc, but because it is not working then there is nothing to display.

I just don't know how or what is going on?

I have also installed following all of the suggestions offered in this thread. I am using 1.3.8. I don't have any thing blocked in the configuration. I've gone to my site and clicked around, I've had my friends go to my site (on their computers of course) and click around, but nothing shows up at all in ANY of the stats. I've even checked the database in mySQL and Nothing!

Got a quirky one which I don't understand here :)

Everything seems to be workng fine except the last 10 visitors report is duplicating or in some cases not tracking a sale.

- that is each customer is appearing twice so in effect I see the last 5 visitors at a time ( twice each - identical information )

- sometimes it misses a sale so a customer who has completed a purchase is showing as a bailed cart.

I am on Zen 1.3.8 - is there anything I could have stuffed up on install to cause this behaviour :)

I'm just clarifying this post for anyone else who is having trouble with the O rows (no data) problem. I did not understand what this person was trying to say until I noticed that in the "includes" folder to be uploaded, there was a subfolder that says YOUR_TEMPLATE. If you upload the entire directory without looking into the subdirectories first, the jscript file will not be uploaded into the right directory. You'll have a directory in there that says YOUR_TEMPLATE that's not being called by anything.

Change YOUR_TEMPLATE to your template's name and the script will now work.

It might be helpful if in future docs they warn you to check the subdirectories for any template directories that need to be named.

Hope this helps someone else - I was tearing my hair out on this.

Great Mod and it worked quite well till recently.
I dont know what i did recently to change it.

The problem is that for each visitor shows me more than one record like if a person visits 10 pages it shows me 1o records for the last 10 visitors from the same ip. Also it just keeps showing guest even if the visitor logins and even buys something.
Seemed to be working fine but something has gone wrong. I replaced all the files and also uninstalled the sql and reinstalled it but no change seems to happen to get it right.
I tried to install the time offset mod before this went wrong i think.
Would really appreciate getting it back on track.

Someone Please help me remove the supertracker completely and I want to reinstall it. I dropped the table of supertracker but my site stopped displaying and i had to reinstall the sql patch

OK I was able to get the supertracker back.

The time offset optional file s&*^&* up the supertracker
\time_zone_offset_v1-3-8a\optional\includes\extra_configures\time_offset.php

If you dont need it dont upload it otherwise your supertracker will go off the cliff

After installing Supertracker I have the following problems.

In overview "Ten Last Visitors" is the Landing page: and Last Page Viewed: always refering to the admin URL.

Search Keywords isn't working at all.

I think it would be great if I could add a time offset to the supertracker without having to change the cart timing (which is a hassle ) in a simple manner. Is there a way I could do it ?

FOUND A POSSIBLE BUG.....

If you have a text attribute, and the customer enters something with a comma in it (or probably other special character)... It throws up.

The customer gets a 1064 error on the update of the super tracker table starting with where the comma was entered.

I had to remove the entries from supertracker until I could get to their cart and remove the offending item.

Please let me know if you have a work around for this issue.

i don't get many sales, but on the two i have gotten, Supertracker shows "Completed purchase: false". That makes all the sales reports unavailable to me. I'm getting suspicious because google analytics is showing the same kind of blindness...yet my site is functioning fine. Can anyone tell me where this might be coming from?

Hey anyone have luck with this mod recently. I'm not sure if it is my configuration that is effecting the functionality, but none of my pages inside the cart seem to load when this mod is installed. Just blank white pages that continue to try and load, only part that loads is the title. Any ideas? TYI

I am running ZC 1.3.8. I installed supertracker and it worked great. However, a couple weeks ago I updated my site to have a 404 error page instead of just going to the front page. Since then, I commonly see Supertracker report people enter or leave my site on "Page Not Found."

The thing is, I know this isn't true, because I can go to the main index page in my browser, then open up supertracker and see that it thinks I am on "Page Not Found." Clearly it's a mistake. Is anyone else running into this, and do you know how to fix it?

Login with symbols and forms that the customer puts symbols into will crash it.

Same thing happened to my zencart 1.3.7, after successful installation of the mod my zen site just displayed blank white pages including the index page...
uninstalled the Supertracker using the packaged sql uninstall, but still no avail, any help? ideas?

I retrieved the code and saw it for myself using the master password mod to login to her account, and I have fixed the error by deleting that line from the supertracker table in the database using the tracking id *but* I would like to prevent it happening again....seems the supertracker also recorded customer comments but didn't escape the ' and I don't know enough to either have it not record the customer comments along with the cart or escape any apostrophes lol

Any ideas?

Sorry I have to add onto this, missed the edit time LOL I don't think it was the customer comment section, what the customer was trying to order has a text field as an attribute for information, here:

Every time she or I tried to login to her account it added a new line to the supertracker mod bringing up the syntax error every time because that item was still in her cart, so I had to uninstall the supertracker mod, login to her account and delete the item from her cart, and then reinstall the supertracker mod to get rid of the error entirely.

Since this is the only error that arose from the text entry I can only assume that the supertracker mod is not escaping apostrophes in text attributes but I have no idea on what or where to edit the mod files to fix that and would much appreciate some help so this doesn't happen again LOL

i Love this mod i have been using it for a while now. but for some reason it has now started to show 6 entry's for each visit to my site. Each entry is showing a different Country name for the UK e.g. one will show United Kingdom next will show Northern Ireland the next Scotland and so on.

I'm guessing it is being caused by the new Big Royal mail mod zones that I installed the other day but i cant finger out where it is picking them up from as I have removed some zones but it is still doing it? :frusty:

I am having the same issue, duplicate entries of the same cart. StarBuck & PatF have you got several countries under the same ISO ref.

I have as with StarBuck the Big Royal mail mod installed and to get Jersey/Guernsey the same postal prices I have used the ISO code GBR/GB which gets around this issue, but for this mod it causes dupilcated results, as I see it it is part of the code that calls the list using the iso code so I will have three copies of the same cart becuse I have three entries of GBR/GB in countries.

I am getting the same problem with duplicate entries, I have also noticed that even if I have logged in it shows me as guest instead of the username as the same mod did for OSC.

Actually I want to make sure I Am clear, I am not getting duplicate entries, I am getting a new entry for each page that I vist. In other words, if I click on 15 different products than I get 15 entries in the database and NONE of them are showing as coming from a registered user when that person has logged in.

could this be due to sessions?

Any ideas?

ZenCart is a great program, but definitely not for the faint of heart or those who can't put in the time to work on it. I'm amazed by how much work so many people in the forum have put into their stores; and it's such a steep learning curve for many of us. This forum community is by far one of the best - so many people helping each other. And a lot of it is just plain trial & error solutions shared for no reason except to make it easier on the next person.

I have read around for few weeks and found some posts with the same problem I am having but not a solution. I am using Zen Cart version 138a with 2 mods installed. User tracking and image handler 2.
The admin interface for supertracker appears to be fuctioning but I get no information. It always has the following line.
database currently holds 0 rows (oldest record : )
And its the same line for everything in the dropdown menu. Anyone have an idea?

Anyone have any ideas on this? I have still be struggling with this. I have installed this on a brand new instance of zen and I am still getting the same thing on the new install. Basically it is recording a visitor when they hit the site, but it is recording a separate hit for each page that they click on. so if one user visits 10 products I get 10 hits in the database.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have products under the "Document - Product" type and they are not showing up. Only products listed under the "Product - General" are showing. Any suggestions on to where I can change the code to record both?

Never mind, I found the file to edit. In case others have this issue...

In the class file there are two lines like this.

I have the same problem. Couldn’t find an answer or remedy to make it works.
Really small issue, but would appreciate any help.

I installed this and it works very well except that I cannot get the countries to display. In the "last 10 visitors" instead of the flags I see a "red x" icon and in "Visitors Countries Stats" I get only a band of colour that keeps changing every time I refresh.
I downloaded the GeoIP.dat.gz file and I installed it in the includes/ folder and I downloaded the "flags" folder and I uploaded the contents in the admin/images/flags folder. Still nothing. I changed the name of the GeoIP.dat.gz file to GeoIP.dat, geoip.dat.gz, geoip.dat, geoip.gz. No change. Then I placed the GeoIP file in the Admin/includes folder, just to see if that works. Nothing. Then I got rid of the GeoIP file altogether. No change, it made absolutely no difference whatsoever, it is as if that file never even existed. What I am doing wrong?

I got it figured out... It was my mistake altogether. :blush:I was actually uploading the zippped folder. After I unzipped the .gz file, it worked.

Anyone? Whenever someone comes to my site I get an entry for EVERYTHING someone clicks on, so if they look at 10 pages I get 10 separate entries. I really need to get this fixed so that I can have accurate demographic stats. :censored:

gottoys - I wonder whether you've managed to resolve this problem. My Supertracker report is also recording one record per click, and I therefore have no means of recording the time someone spends on site. All 'time on site' = 0.

This mod used to work fine for me, given that gottoys has the same problem on a fresh install I have not tried removing any subsequent mods from my site. Although I have uninstalled and reinstalled supertracker.

Any suggestions would be welcome

First, the GeoIP.dat file doesn't seem to be working properly... I've tried uploading it to {my site}/includes/GeoIP.dat as well as in {my site}/{admin folder}/includes/GeoIP.dat, but it doesnt seem to be doing anything. Assuming that the file is there, that it's spelt correctly (case sensitive), and that the read permissions to the file are 755, is there anything else that would cause my "visitors countries stats" to show as 100% with no country listed?

Second, I have one record in my results where the user placed two orders. The first order was a free downloaded, and then the second order was a paid order (through paypal). The GeoIp.dat is not supposed to go in the admin/includes but in (yourstore)/ includes.
In the description there is two suggestions for download of GeoIp.dat but i only found a working file in the second site.
Also check the permission after uploading.

I'm having problems with this. I have did as suggested above and inserted $thirty_mins_ago = date('Y-m-d H:i:s', (time()+TIME_ZONE_OFFSET*60*60 - (30*60))); However, it seems to have zero effect on the times displayed in the Super Tracker area.

I didn't alter my DB but as it happens, I recently installed the time_zone_offset_v1-3-8a mod which inserted VALUES ('', 'Time Zone Offset', 'TIME_ZONE_OFFSET'

By rights, the alterations I made to supertracker.php should affect the time displayed in the logs but it isn't.

Any ideas anyone?

First off, I love supertracker.

Unfortunately, it quit working recently. I had a guy working on my site to fix up some things, but somewhere along the line supertracker quit working.

I know for sure that the TABLE_SUPERTRACKER is not being updated, so it's on the write to db side, and not on the query from db. I want to debug this, but I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone have a clue what the first step is to see why it's not writing to the db? I can punch in some debug code but I need some assistance on where to put it and/or what to try.

Thanks for this add-on! I like the real-time stats and basket view in addition to Google analytics.

I'm getting 404 Error thrown when the country is unknown, as the page is trying to load "--.gif". Not a big deal, but worth looking into.

Edit: Now that I look at it, the flag icons weren't included in my download package.

I installed the latest version of supetracker on my server. I then placed some fictitious orders. I also did some abandon carts and when I ran the report nothing was generated. What did I install wrong.

For some reason that I can't for the life of me figure out my supertacker records each person twice. So when I look up the last 10 visitors I see the last five twice each. This is occurring on two seperate sites now. :frusty:

I recently came accross this security issue:
When you click on a link on a SuperTracker report page the html referer information reveals the name of your admin directory (of course to the cite where the link goes) which can be a security risk.
Does anybody have any idea, how to prevent this?

Have you figured this out? I am still having the problem

I am running Zen 1.3.8 in my site.
I have installed successfully supertracker in my old template, however, due to some security errors, I need to go back to classic template.
In this template supertracker works fine, without following:
1. no customer (ID)name
2. log on time too short for each record, so each click will be added to database

Pls help. :oops:

gotoys, got your pm. No I'm afraid I haven't isolated the cause, just glad it's resolved itself. In case it helps my Admin>Config>Sessions settings are:

Cookie Domain True
Force Cookie Use False
Check SSL Session ID False
Check User Agent False
Check IP Address False
Prevent Spider Sessions True
Recreate Session False
IP to Host Conversion Status true

Sorry I can't suggest more. However I also have installed 'user tracking' it's very good and I find that I tend to use this more. Mind you my site doesn't warrant my using all supertracker options (I tend to use it just to check for bailed carts)

I still cannot solve customer ID problem.
Last time when it was functioning was before I upload TIME OFFSET mod. So I disabled this mod for a while and returned to classic template.

Anyone pls help.

I'm trying to uninstall this because my host says its running a lot of queries and slowing things down. When I try to run the Uninstall SQL patch it takes the store down with some not found errors.

Is there a proper way to remove this?

I use a tracker and see this problem too. I believe it stems from a SEO redirect cause but have never been able to narrow it down far enough to fix.
Do you have a redirect in you .http file?

Hi all,

I have a little problrm. I have installed Supertracker onto my zen-cart, uploaded the right files into the right folders, run the install and uninstall a hundred times but when I look at the report it always says-

"Database Info: the Supertracker database currently holds 0 rows (oldest record : )"

Even tough I have had more than 75 hits to the shop - the tracker has not recorded any of them

What is going wrong? what can I do to get the tracker to work??

Hi, this time offset 60*60 business confuses me a bit, could someone explain how I might go about adding 4 hours to the times reported so that its inline with UK time?

I just found out it is possible to edit client accounts from the frotside of shop using Suppertracker. I'm not going to tell here how it's done, but it is important enough to be mentioned.

Does anyone know how to replace the ereg functions on this mod so that it's compatible with PHP 5.3? I really like the mod, been using it for ages but it's broken on new updated servers.

the file that has the problem is:

includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php

Just replace all these:

ereg('^[0-9]', $key)

with this:

preg_match('/^[0-9]/', $key)

Is there a way to stop intenal links appearing on the 'Top referrers' list?

for example, I have the following in my list:

They are all internal links from my site so are muddying the waters for me a little when I'm trying to see who my top referrers are.
