    Glad you got it sorted out!


    FYI - when the download folder is moved outside the webroot, there is no benefit in using the .htaccess file in the download folder.
    Also, Windows servers often don't like .htaccess files anyway.

    There are some tweaks to gzip stuff in the next version. Thanks for sharing the feedback.

    Great news to hear you appear to have sorted problem/s
    The download directory is on the same level as my wwwroot directory.

    I have a number of different folders on that level -- none of them are accessible to the internet via browser. Only the wwwroot folder and those within it can be accessed via a browser.

    Moving it outside of my wwwroot directory is one of the best methods for protecting it so that it cannot be accessed.

    Thanks for info re zencart and Windows servers..I learn something
    new everyday via zencart forums..
