I am still awaiting a resolution to this one - anyone?
I can't seem to duplicate this problem, so am having difficulty even trying to come up with a fix for it.

Hi,
I am also experiencing this problem. Has anyone found a fix for this?
We are experiencing a few payment problems at the moment. The other seems to occur when someone pays via paypal, they are not suppying all of the 'required' fields such as Country, Gender, DofB & Telephone Number. I am unable to view the customers details in admin, so I have to log in as the customer on the front end (use the master password mod) and then add these details. This then sorts out the issue with not being able to view their account.
The other problem (which must be connected) is that any of these customers do not have any address info in their orders.
If anyone has any idea where to start, please let me know.
Many thanks,
J

Assuming a fresh install of Zen Cart v1.3.8a, what are all the steps I'd have to take to configure my site to match yours, so that I could test and replicate the problems you're experiencing?

Hi,
Would it be best for me to PM you our admin username & password so that you can see?
I have also got the 2 log files from the PayPal module that I could email you?
Let me know,
Cheers

Hi,
I am having many problems with the new PayPal module set up in the UK.
Has anyone actually got it working? And if so, do they mind sharing this with me?
We only have porblems when customers decide to go through the PayPal Express option. If they fill in their details on the iste, then the sale goes through fine.
This is really starting to annoy me as I love Zen-cart and we are hoping to make this the ecommerce package of choice to our customers, but if we cant get this working ourselves, we really dont want to move customers over to it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
J

Hi Dr Byte
All i do to get this problem is this:
I install a fresh version of zen 1.3.8a and a new empty database
i then use the UK zones paypal compatible module from your download section (could this be causing the problem???)
in my store i set as united kingdom and lancashire - in creat account default country id is set to united kingdom.
I set all necessary details in modules/payment - only paypal website payments pro and paypal express checkout (pro 2.0 payflow uk) are green
I then add one fictional item and picture.
i then add this item to my shopping cart
i create an account for myself using addy in this country (uk)
i then select to checkout - i have two radio buttons,: fill in credit card details (which seem to work fine) or paypal - when i select the paypal and confirm order i then get the error The field Shipping Address Country is required
regards
Lyn
I believe that Curl version might be a problem?
we are hosted on 1and1 and server info is:
PHP Version: 4.4.7 (Zend: 1.3.0) PHP Memory Limit: 40M
libcurl/7.10.3 OpenSSL/0.9.6g ipv6 zlib/1.2.1
Hi,
I have just checked our Curl version and it reads:
cURL support enabled
cURL Information libcurl/7.15.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8b zlib/1.2.3
As far as I am aware, this is fairly up-to-date.
Any other ideas?
J

Today we have lost 25 order so far down to this error. My inbox is getting swapped with this error message from PayPal.
Is there anyway we can turn of the PayPal EC module until this problem is sorted? I know it is against PayPal TOC, but this is starting to wear a bit thin now.
I think Zen is great, but it does appear that this module has got a few bugs in for the people that are using the PayFlow UK module (which we must use for some UK specific cards).
Can anyone shed any ideas on what else we can look at?
DrByte began to have a look at this, and not sure if he got anywhere or not as I havent heard from him for the last week. Sorry to sound like I am going on, but really need this to be looked at.
Many thanks,
Jamie
