[Fixed - See post 26] USPS International shipping problem...

The new shipping module for USPS will work with all versions ...

We're using 1.3.7

All our international options disappeared and we installed the fix listed in post #26. Priority and Express came back, but First Class is still gone.

Can anyone help?

Please make sure that the file:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php

is the current January 2, 2011 C copy from post #26 and that you did a REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigured it ...

Next, check the Tare Rates in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

What is your Ship From?

What is your Ship To?

What are your settings in the Shipping/Packaging?

What is the weight of the Order that you are testing?

This fix worked great! Whew! Awesome and thank you!

However, as I read in another post I didn't see answered, when the rate estimates come in, the cheapest UPS price is highlighted in bold and not necessarily the cheapest rate which is USPS. Any suggestions for this fix?

Start as a Guest with nothing in the cart ...

Add something to the Cart ...

Go to Checkout (Do NOT peek at Shipping Estimator) ...

Is the lowest price in USPS selected? :unsure:

So I re-installed the usps module from #26 post and am getting this from a user in BC, Canada

We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

I only have this checked for internatianal: First Class Mail International Package, but i checked all of them and tried it and it didnt make a difference.

I'm using 1.3.9g

Do you have any advice please.

I am able to display all the options i want for international shipping with USPS except for International Flat Rate BOX.
The priority flat rate envelope works but not priority flat rate box.

I have the radio button selected in my shipping module but still not able to get Priority Flat Rate Box.

Any help?

What weight are you trying to ship?

What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging?

What are the settings in the right panel of the Modules ... Shipping ... when you click on USPS?

.8 lbs is the weight. I have my tare set to 0:0. I've tried 10:1 and 0:5 and it changes the prices but doesn't add the flat rate box option.
Settings to the right of the module for international are:

Express Mail Int
Priority Mail International
Priority Mail Int Flat Rate Env
Priority Mail Int Flat Rate Box

Sound like either you have the wrong USPS shipping module installed on the server or that you did not load the new file to the server and do a REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure ...

and set your Tare Rates back to 0:0 ...

See if it makes a difference to download the USPS January 2, 2011 C and reinstall it ...
