[Fixed - See post 26] USPS International shipping problem...

I've installed your correction and it's working fine for international. Major Kudos to you for that!

My only question really is this, previously I had more options with US mail (eg: flat rate envelope/box sizes) and with the changes I have tons more options for international, but US has kicked back down to the bare minimum (Generics priority, first class, express, etc...) am I imagining this? or is this just part of this change, and the other portion will be present in the upcoming May changes to the US rates?

USPS for the US has just 6 shipping methods that will display based on weight ...

Been on hold for almost an hour with USPS trying to find out what happened. Usually it's a bad User ID or wrong production server, but since I can't get through.....

Then it usually is an USPS account that is not active ...

Got all that but getting different story from USPS. They sent PDF which talks Rate V4 Domestic and V2 International.

And they are listing the shippingapi.dll as ShippingAPI.dll on production

Tell them you would like to activate your account for the RateV3 server ...

All works well with the CORRECT ID.

The international USPS rates aren't working again. I did the latest upgrade from post #26 of this thread, and I verified line 109 reads: ```
$shipping_ounces = zen_round($shipping_ounces, 2);

I made these changes on Jan 16, 2011, and all was well.  But now when I try to do an "Estimate Shipping" for a country outside the US, I get no USPS rates returned.  Only UPS (astronomical) rates.

I then did a test checkout, and in the USPS section I got: -2147218052 - The ounces field must be less than 5 digits

I've seen this a number of times over the years, and using the zen_round command has always corrected it.  But it's back!

Anyone know of any new changes from USPS?

OMG! My bad!!!

I have 3 sites, and the error is coming up on a site I didn't do the upgrade on! I was checking the code on a site I did do the upgrade on. Doh!! :blush:

I installed the update from post #26. Removed and reinstalled the USPS mod. It looked like it was working and allowed the customer to choose in Step 1 of 3. However when you get to Step 2 of 3 it shows the top option or most expensive option rather than the one that was chosen, typically the least expensive option. Help! So close, yet so far...

I cannot reproduce this error ...

Try reloading the usps.php file from post #26 and doing the REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure one more time ...

need to reference the IntlRateV2 from USPS. Then you will need to include all the required XML elements below. USPS just updated their code.

Zen cart team: Any update on why the First Class international options do not show up?

Certainly NOT part of the dev team, but could you be more specific on where they are not showing up?
As options in the usps setup, as options for a customer, etc.

First Class Mail Int Package has been selected in the USPS shipping module.
However this option is not showing up as an option on Checkout- Delivery information Step 1 of 3.
I don't know where else to look to correct the issue as I've installed the most recent usps.php file

Update #26 worked perfectly for me- including International shipping + First Class Int'l Parcel!
