Hi Anne,

No, I couldn't work it out but in the end I decided not to use the right hand sideboxes anyway which evened everything up again.

But another issue I'm having is that I'm trying to limit the number of characters on the Product Titles as some are longer than others thus making the "box" move down (I attached an image in an earlier post).

I have been on the zen cart forums and have found the code to change but it is still not working.

I was told that the original code was a bad code, or something like that but I changed the original code on line 140 and 142 to the following:

Is there anything in there that you can see why it wouldn't work? Also, the original code was written in there twice, word for word, so I changed both of them, then only just the one etc but whichever way I did it, it still wouldn't reduce the number of characters in the title.

It is unclear to me exactly what you are trying to do but I would use css to fix ant spacing issues.

I had a male friend look at this page for feedback:

And he said I had to lose the pink background. How can I change the background for this page and probably for the category Aftershave as well. Those are the only two strictly masculine pages I have.

You need to edit your stylesheet, /includes/templates/piccadilly_posh/css/stylesheet.css

Fing the link for your background image and replace bk.img with the name of your new image. Make sure the image is uploaded to your server as well :)

Sorry I misunderstood what you were trying to do. That change I suggested would change the image globally. I am not sure of a way to change it only for two pages but I am sure it can be done. Hopefully someone else has the answer you are needing.

If you read the reademe file in the css directory, you will find instructions for per page css changes.

I looked at the read me, but missed any information about keeping Featured Products open on the Main Page. Is there a way to do that I missed? Featured Products are the only ones I am showing on the Main Page.

Thanks, I am now able to keep Featured Products open. I have two more questions I can't seem to pinpoint:

Is there a define I can use to change the name of Featured to read Featured Fragrances or Featured Products. It says simply Featured right now.

For some reason if you point the cursor at the heading "Featured" it turns into a hand as if it was a clickable link. Since it isn't, is there some way I could prevent that hand from appearing?

You can use the admin--tools--developers toolkit to search for which line of which file you need to edit to make changes.

If you only want the featured products to show then I would recommend removing the tabbed home page modules module and just using default zen cart functionality.

When I look at the demo for Piccadilly Posh, I see the Newsletter Unsubscribe page, and I know I had one at one time, but not anymore. I know that I had removed it from the footer, and the sitemap, and have since replaced it in the sitemap as Promotions Unsubscribe, and I see the define in:

Includes/languages/English/piccadilly_posh/unsubscribe.php

But I can’t actually get to the page. I don’t know how to correct this. Please help~

I would recommend looking at the footer_menu_defines.php file that is included in the template package to find the code you need to add to your footer_menu_defines.php file for the unsubscribe link.

I've decided to just go with Specials for the Main Page, but I can't lose the Featured Products. Here is the code I am showing in includes/templates/overrides/css/stylesheet_module_tabs.css

If you don't want featured at all, turn them off in the admin on the home page,

I chose to add some text to the footer and didn't realize I was opening a can of worms. I did the following:

In the includes/templates/piccadilly_posh/common/ tpl_footer.php:

And this in the stylesheet.css

.mytext a {
font-size: 75%;
}

I immediately had issues with text becoming centered throughout my entire site! What I am looking to do in the footer is have the text left aligned with a margin, so it's not jammed against the left side, and have a space between the two paragraphs. Right now the white space between the payment options and before the text looks good, ditto the space under the last paragraph and the Copyright. Once it is aligned left, it might jump to an extra space. I have had that happen when my host tried to help.

I understand that somehow the footer text is combined with other things on my site, so I can't be jumping in there and changing stuff around on the fly. I'd like to just set it and forget it, and get my site back to being left aligned.

You can fix your footer text by adding this to your stylesheet.css file:

.mytext{text-align:left;width:95%;margin:0 auto;}

The text centering problem is not related to the .mytext class. I would recommend back tracking and restoring previous backups to find the point at which the problem started.

The code fixed the footer text issue and I am working on the centering of the rest of the site. You are an angel~

Now that I've buttered you up a bit, let me ask how I might stop the cursor from turning into a hand when it points to Shop Our Sale on the main page. I don't want that heading to do anything but sit there and look pretty. No hover, no click, just pretty.

Hoping for as easy a fix as the footer issue ;)
