It is no problem to change the template colors. You will need to have skill in css and image editing.

Anne

This has nothing to do with the template package. The html area was removed by the zen cart developers in version 1.5x.

Thanks,

Anne

You can either create a class or id to use on your <p> or <div> tags or you can use ones native to zen cart and then change the font size in the stylesheet.css file. So for the about us page you could use: #aboutUsMainContent

Thanks,

Anne

If you read the readme.html file you will find instructions for adding new products, etc. useful links, and removing the phone number.

The safest place to add a new class or id is at the bottom of the stylesheet, although for usability sake it is better to group them with other similar page elements, or with other elements that are close to it on the page.

If you want to make css changes, I would recommend doing a google search for a css tutorial. W3schools has a good one ;-)

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Piccadilly Posh Template Support Thread

Hi, having a real hard time trying to show more of the background on this template while maintaing 3 images in the grid formation on this page and other category pages:

http://designerperfumesnob.authsafe.com/celebrity-scents-c-1358.html

Originally tried for 860px and that only worked if I went with 2 images across which looks foolish. I would love to stick with 3 images across, keeping them inside of the borders I created.

Could the images be moved a little closer together starting with the one on the left moving closer to the sidebox and then moving the rest little by little to see how that affects it? I'm just grasping at straws here, because I really want more of the background to show and I don't know how to proceed.

Thank you.

Why don't you make your background image smaller? You may also be able to use css to move the images closer together if this is what you are trying to do.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Piccadilly Posh Template Support Thread

At first I thought you meant making my product images smaller. I should reduce the size of the background image?

If you just want to move the entire container to the left you can add this bottom to your stylesheet.css file:

#productListing .centerBoxWrapperContents{margin-left:-20px;background:transparent;}

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Piccadilly Posh Template Support Thread

It did of course move the center contents closer to the sidebox, but it still didn't give me an even margin on the right side (menu bar hangs over) and there is an uneven amount of background on the left and right side.

Isn't there any pixel width short of the original that would allow for 3 images across? I love the background and really want more to show. It's the main reason I chose this template!

If you are going to be doing this type of customization I would strongly recommend doing a google search for a css tutorial. If your #mainWrapper is off center you can center it in the stylesheet.css file. If the mega menu is the incorrect width, you can also change this in the stylesheet_mega_menu.css file.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Piccadilly Posh Template Support Thread

Hi I'm using this template and I'm having trouble... 2 things..

How to change the links that this template to about us, quicklinks

2nd. How to take the numbers completely out of the slider box just want it colors and not numbers inside.

site is "r u f f l e d p a p e r . c o m" I was able to change the wording and display non the drop down boxes but now I just want to change those links to whatever links I desire.

Thanks so much in advance.

Brian
