Haven't seen anyone complain about it not working with 1.5.4. Other option, use the settings (briefly) from your other store. This at least would verify that the software on your system is sat.
After that, it would be a problem related to setup with the email host/server which yes would include settings in ZC.

Oh ok, I cant find it in my bluehost cpanel anyway. Should I attempt a chat with them to be sure?
Oh I see will do, thanks.

Good urve gone out searching some more... I saw that one earlier as well, but wasn't sure if it applied as much to your condition... Might be something there...

It? The mail archive manager? That is a plugin that gets added to your Zc store, no files are overwritten. Options appear under your tools menu. (Once installed) effectively it does what you could do by looking. At the database once email archiving has been enabled. Ie. If you turn it on, try to send an email, goto phpmyadmin, I forget which table it is in, but suspect it has the name email in it and can verify that the information is logged....

That worked I think it maybe a server issue then?

It is definitely a problem between ZC (excluding the software itself) and the email being received, which means that either the settings are incorrect for that particular email account to use, or there is some server "blockage" between the ZC software and email receipt...
I know that you've commented on the email host, but it may be better/easier to obtain support for this part of the issue by presenting everything in one post. The email host name info, as well as the settings in the configuration->email section of your ZC admin. I am not sure that I can help directly from that at the moment, but maybe/hopefully another would/could step in with ideas/solutions... The various email related FAQs as well as other threads in the forum may help to search for those types of threads from your favorite internet search tool as the ZC forum search (vbulletin I think it is) doesn't always find the most relevant/recent information.

I was just informed... I have checked the email logs for your account and it appears that your outgoing emails are being blocked by our Outbound Email Filters for spamming. This is set up on the server to prevent our IP’s from being blacklisted or blocked.

Are you using your hosting account email for things like mass mailings??
This is not normally allowed - as it is advertising and one should use a service for this

couldn't I just reinstall the bluesheffield template?
or better yet when my host fixes my email issue, couldn't I just restore from the march 5th when everything was fine?

Thanks Doc, you mentioned it at first
I felt that something was odd when my host couldn't figure this out 5 days ago and said that I would need a developer.
I will have to make sure this doesn't happen again. I have been very methodical with my files and have more faith in myself and thankfully because of you guys, I have learned so much.
So if I restore to a working date after my email is back then everything should work the way it was before?
I know I would also have to deal with merging the 'admin login as customer module' but at least I will be up again fully if I'm correct.
thank you

I restored my files and dbase to a known working time.
At first I had to upload those 2 zen password function files to replace the mod I have to fix later just to see my pages.
For some reason it's not using the sheffield template which is what I used last when working. https://www.gelcandlecompany.com
The admin is not reachable. Gives me 500 error.
My cache log file says
[18-Mar-2016 08:04:51 America/Denver] PHP Warning: require(includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_flexible_footer_menu.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home8/gelcand1/public_html/includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/common/tpl_footer.php on line 58

By the way I did not see a T static error in my cache folder....I thought of that.

I really didn't need to restore the sql base cause nothing changed, duh.

Could it be that I would need to apply this patch to access admin. i will try that.
