That's way too broad of an error message to help. What SO page gives you that error? Is that error the only text on the page, or do portions of the page render (i.e. can you see the navigation at all)? Does the rest of your admin work?((((

Refer post 866 earlier. This worked for me.

I want photos on my super_orders.php?page=1&oID=2&action=edit page.

I tried adding this code (and aligned the columns and heading) but I am not getting photos. [edit] I am just getting placeholders[end of edit] Any suggestions?

Just a quick answer, in light of the fact that there may not be one.

I'm updating my ZC from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a.

I used to have SO on my prior version, and this is what I did this far.
I downloaded a fresh copy of ZC 1.3.8a on top of my old database, and am updating the database as needed and uninstalling and reinstalling the mods I like from fresh downloads.

I thought that approach easier that fooling around looking for modified files in the core.

So, I see on the download page for SO that the mod hasn't changed since 10/07. But when reading the forum, there's jibjab about fixes along the way.
Is there a newer version with all the fixes or does someone have the fixes listed in one place so I can apply them manually?

Export Orders to XML is a separate module, which plugs into Super Orders for easy access. You'll need to identify the module you installed and look into its configuration.

No, there's no new version available. The patches you see are all community homebrew to fill the gap till I can get this damn installer done. However I should note that all these fixes are accounted for in the next release.

I'll also be reviewing the new version heavily with the Zen Cart team this weekend in Toronto; that'll hopefully yield some positive results.

lurkerfilms did an excellent job laying out the changes necessary. He even has a download with the necessary files. If you go through all that and are still not sure what to do, it's probably a little above your level...which of course makes it the perfect opportunity to get in there and try it yourself anyway. :D

Make a copy of your store, either elsewhere on server or offline (I suggest WAMP if you would like to code locally on a windows box), grab his files and instructions, and start poking around. In-file searches for variables, CSS definitions, etc. will help you track down what goes where. For that I recommend Notepad++.

Like my mom always said: "This is a self-cleaning bath...clean up after yourself!"

It's not a feature I have built into SO anywhere, but a good idea to be sure. Unless theres another contrib out there that does it, I think manual is currently your only answer.

Again, don't let that stop you. The only way you learn is to try. The internet is big, but Google is bigger. Pick a starting point and look around for advice.

I'll let you in on a little secret: when I started coding Super Orders, I was about 3 months into Zen Cart and maybe 6 months into PHP in general. It just takes some time and effort. :bigups:

I'm having some trouble installing. I've uploaded all the files, but am having issues with the SQL file. I tried uploading hte file through ZC's "install SQL Patches", but got an error. When I tried uploading the file again, this is what I got:

"1062 Duplicate entry 'CA' for key 2
in:
[INSERT INTO zen_so_payment_types VALUES (NULL, 1, 'CA', 'Cash');]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields."

How do I fix this? I'm not all that familiar with SQL, I could really use some help!

Your right, the instructions was a bit hard to get, but the idea is sound. I changed the require to require_once in the three files. With super_batch_forms.php look to the bottom around line 339 for

function batch_forms($target_file, $selected_oids, $num_copies = 1)

replace from the 'function' to the bottom closing php tag with his code. making sure not to delete the closing php tag.

Now in the super_stylesheet.css add a pagebreak to a class name. like

.endline {
page-break-after: always;
}

Then just before the closing body tag of packing slip and invoice pages, add something like this

<div class="endline">------------ pagebreak --------------</div>

What you get when you do this is a full html page of all the invoices or packing slip. You will see the -----pagebreak------ but when you print, each will print on there own page and the -----pagebreak------ wont. If you do this with the shipping label, you'll get one label per page. But play with the styles and you can get it to print on a label sticker page.

As always, back up before you edit and best to use a testing server to make sure everything works before uploading to a live site.

What I am looking for is to put a button onto Super Orders
that would take me to the TY Package Tracker (With its respected order)

Then, what would be nice is to have the same thing back in reverse.

The Problem was that when I moved servers that I needed to reset the permersion to the XML folder to 777

I have tried to change the Status "delivered" in the admin to "shipped" but when i search for the word "delievered" in the code i do not come up with anything? Can someone tell me how i would find this? I do not believe it is an image, thanks for any type of help. I just need to be able to find it and i can figure it out. The way it is now customers think their item is already delivered when they get the status update as "Delivered", so stating it as "Shipped" would make a but more sense.
