OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Thanks topcat24.

So do I leave the change I made to the super_batch_status.php and also make the change you noted to the super_order.php?

Or do I undo the change I made to the super_batch_status.php and just make the change you noted to the super_order.php?

Thanks!

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

It depends which version you chose to add to your site. If you had the lines 353-356```php
if ( ($check_status->fields['orders_status'] != $status) || zen_not_null($comments)) {
update_status($oID, $status, $notify, $comments);

if ($notify == 1) email_latest_status($oID);

I am using the v45 with the fix as above in the super_batch_status.php as this is the better fix, as the latest version changes the values to 'on' or 'off' then back to 1 and 0 instead of leaving it as either 1 or 0 which is how the tick or cross is decided.

The only two files that were changed from v46 to v45 are *admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/super_orders_functions.php and
admin/super_batch_status.php

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Netherworks:

Having a slight problem with Super Orders 2.0 and been searching like crazy to no avail.

The batch status update is working great (notifies customers, ect) and the status changes but the expiration for downloads is not updating. So "link expires" in the customer page is still showing the original date, not being updated with a status update change.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Is there anything I can edit to fix this?

The versions are 2.0 (rev46) and 2.0 (rev45), this is what I meant with v46 & v45

Does it work using the normal orders method, so that when you change the status the customer is able to download? If it does then I do not know what could be causing the problem as downloads are done by changing the Status and you says that the status is changing. Looking round the forums I think at the current time downloads are done by order date and not by when the order status has been changed this is not down to super orders.

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

I tried again and the red x is still there.
And now I am getting this error when I tried to delete an order.

Fatal error: Call to a member function delete_all_data() on a non-object super_orders.php on line 138

How do I fix that and what should I try next?

Thanks.

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

starting over...

i put both files back to their original state.

i have super_orders_2.0 rev46

i this the correct fix for rev46?
Change the code below in admin\super_orders.php

if ( ($check_status->fields['orders_status'] != $status) || zen_not_null($comments)) {
          $customer_notified = '0';
          if (isset($_POST['notify']) && ($_POST['notify'] == 'on')) {
            $customer_notified = '1';
          }

          update_status($oID, $status, $customer_notified, $comments);

          if ($customer_notified == '1') {
            email_latest_status($oID);
          }

to

```
$notify = $_POST['notify'];
if ( (
$check_status->fields['orders_status'] != $status) || zen_not_nullCOLOR=#007700) {
update_status($oID, $status, $notify, $comments);
if ($notify == 'on') {
     email_latest_status($oID);
}[/COLOR]
is there another fix i have to apply to another file as well or just the fix above?
thanks for your help.
Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)
I was able to setup the lastest SO with ZC 1.3.8. with a minor modification to fix the Notify Customer Bug.
I'm testing the Mod and could not do the following tasks I'm expecting from the Mod:
  1. Change the quantity of existing products in the order.
  2. Add new products to existing order.
  3. Update Payments: i.e.: capture fund, refund, credits,
    Any one cares to help me out regarding how to look for the above features in SO mod?
    Thanks,
    Kev
Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)
philip56:
I am pleased to say that I've solved most of this myself. Most of tthe settings were in the main stylesheet.css. The only things I'm struggling with are changing the font size and colour of the shop address on the invoice.
I'm also still stuck on the invoice logo issue.
Thanks in anticipation.
Philip
Looking into your problem, it looks like another small bug. super_invoice.php does not include a call to super_stylesheet.css in the header. Open admin/super_invoice.php and find this around line 58...
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/stylesheet.css">
Make a new line under it and add this line...
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/super_stylesheet.css">
Now then, if you look at the HTML for the invoice, you'll see that the block for the address has a class called invoiceHeading. You'll find that class defined in admin/includes/super_stylesheet.css. Modify to suit your needs.
As for missing images, you're first going to have to determine what you've edited that would impact image displays. By default, the invoice displays the logo in the upper right. You'll find this call line around 104...
echo zen_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, HEADER_ALT_TEXT) . '<br />';
I'd start there. Did you mess with zen_image() at all? Are HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE and HEADER_ALT_TEXT defined in your admin configuration section? Does the image actually exist?
Mant thanks Blindside - you have givven me a lot to go on.
With reference to the images, you may be interested to learn that my problem is not just with SO generated images - it also extends to emails like the account creation one.
I not aware of editing anything untoward - where in admin/configuration will I find HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE and HEADER_ALT_TEXT refered to?
Once again, many thanks.
Kind regards
Philip
Hey gsdcypher,
I followed instruction from another post:
In admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/super_orders_functions.php,
in function update_status around line 401
change if ($notified == 'on') to if ($notified == 1)
Hope it helps.
Many thanks BlindSide, your fix for the font size change worked a treat.
With reference to my image problem, I must clarify - I am not having a problem displaying the image in the invoice and packing note but in all emails across the site.
Regards
Philip
Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)
To BlindSide,
Do you know how to edit code so that I can remove the restriction on the number of products per order to display Product Images on packaging slip.
I want to display products' images regardless the number of products.
Thanks,
Thanks,
In the super_packingslip.php file found in admin, at line 45 you will find the following code
// Add product images if there are 3 or less products on order
 if (sizeof($order->products) < 4) {
   $display_images = 1;
 }
 else {
   $display_images = 0;
 }
```Just change the value of 4 to a higher value you want.

With regards to your "fix" for the notification you will now find that it is not working for the batch status update, you should have followed what gsdcypher did on page 98.

Cheers Blind side :cheers:

Re: OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

nguyenkhv, keep in mind that I set that limit because any more than that and you will usually push onto a second page. It doesn't take many invoices prints for that to become a significant cost. Just FYI.
