Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

I installed the Slimbox today, I deactivated the Lightbox correctly but now my problem is that when I try to open an image it opens up in a different page, so the contrib is not working.

In what other files should I look for code mistakes at this point?

I'm getting the following error inside Firefox 3.0 whenever I use the "prev" and "next" buttons to navagate from one product to the next. When this happens the product image also fails to appear. It only happens the first time though. If I click again on prev or next things work fine. Here's the following code I get when I look in Firefox's error console:

One of the reasons I got slimbox was to be able to view additional images without having thumbnails of them all sitting in the product info page.

However, I've found that the slimbox fails to display the additional images if I kill the additional images box from my product_info page (both stopping it from calling the module, and stopping the module from calling the columnar_display cause slimbox to only display the primary image).

Is there any way to kill the thumbnails but not kill the images in slimbox? If I knew how slimbox finds and calls the additional images, I could probably figure this out myself, but I'm not sure how it gets its image list.

Installed everything and triple checked it all. I have set the module to true in my admin and made sure all of the setttings are correct, however there is absolutely no change on any of my images. Ive never installed lightbox before so there is no contradiction there.

can anyone have a look at my site and test it for me?

I have tried all the solutions given in this thread but I still don't see the additional images. When I click on Next for the next image, the only thing I see is the preload image.
Is there anyone who can help me with this issue?

If you are having the problem where the additional image thumbnail shows on the product info page but when you click to see it on slimbox you just see loading spiral constantly and no image because the link to the image goes to the images/large/ folder to look for it but doesn't exist then I've found a solution.

Basically open up includes/modules/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/additional_images.php

and remove the "large/" on line #81

#81 $products_image_large = ereg_replace('^' . DIR_WS_IMAGES, DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'large/', $products_image_directory) . ereg_replace($file_extension . '$', '', $file) . IMAGE_SUFFIX_LARGE . $file_extension;

This fixed my problem as described above so I hope this helps some of you guys out!

But there is a other thing...I don't see the pre-load image when loading the (additional)images. Do you have any suggestions?

When you click on a thumbnail the slimbox seems to work fine except that it opens within the wrapper... is there any way for it to open above the Joomla site as well, outside of the wrapper?

It's not a good idea to run a zen-cart store inside a joomla wrapper. For one, you won't be able to link to anything individually, but only to the store front. And, another thing is that a wrapper is an iframe so if you ever add ssl or anything, it won't be able to work correctly.

I would highly suggest you try to template you zen-cart install to look like your joomla site instead of the wrapper.

As for the slimbox not showing in the main window, that's part of the problem with a wrapper.

Finding ways around the wrapper is asking for someone to hack your site.

It seems to work fairly seamlessly as long as my Joomla links are URL into the specific categories. As for the SSL, that is not really too much of a concern... if it changes the window on checkout the customer is ok with it.

I think I may just do without the lightbox though, I don't need any risk of a hack.

It's not the litebox thing that putting you at risk. It's the fact that you're using an iframe that's causing problems. The component is just fine.

What you are actually doing by using a wrapper for your store is impersonating a website. I know, it's your site, but to anyone else looking at it, you're impersonating the website, and then asking users to purchase something from a link that you're impersonating.

I know, the wrapper is easy and that's all most people care to set up.

I can see Fual Slimbox in Configure menu however I am confused further. How do I configure for the images further? If I click on a image my earlier java popup window opens nothing like Slimbox demo.

Is there any documentation on how to use it after installation?

I do not have Zen Light box installed. I am using 1.3.8a

Yes! In the Config/Fual Slimbox it is enable Fual Slimbox = true. So it is enabled.

You should only load the script when the document is ready, otherwise the slimbox will fail to load if the server is slow.
This should be relative easy.

Where in the CSS do I go to move the position of the lightbox (I would like to move it up further on the page). I've played with it a little and can't find anything, do I have to configure that in IH2? Do I actually edit the JS?

I love slimbox and it works wonderfully!

I used EZ Populate for inventory and just recently added IH2 to try to handle the images. For some reason the IH2 will not make my medium/product info pictures automatically. I have posted on the IH2 forum - was given some ideas to try....to no avail.

It was suggested that maybe it was a slimbox issue......does anyone have any insight. I have browsed through the forum and seen references to people using both mods.......so any help would be great.

Right now I am manually adding the photos to get the medium/product photo. Here is a link to my site -
