Fual Slimbox (Lightbox) - Ver 1.0 Support

I down loaded slimbox and it works great but I have one problem I also use another mod called Admin interface for Additional Product Images http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=1146

and when I load up other images using this mod it just shows me a spinning wheel. I took out the code "large/" and it still shows me the spinning wheel. How can I fix this here a link to my site http://www.gottagreatgift.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_95_96&products_id=185

Like several posters in this thread, after installing slimbox, images were being displayed in a new browser window when clicked.

The problem was that I am using a modified product type (a 'book' product), and the slimbox javascript file was not installed into /includes/modules/pages/product_book_info, which is the page that contains my additional images.

Copying the .js file from /includes/modules/pages/product_info into the product_book_info directory solved the problem.

I'm using fual_slimbox and IH2, no zen_lightbox installed.

In your image folder:
yourfoldername - you probably have your main image and additional images with the same name as your main image and additional suffix 01 and 02.

Now:

To enable showing large images in slide show with Fual Slimbox,
you should have the same images in folder:

images/large/yourfoldername/
-YourMainImageName_01_LRG.jpg ( additional image to show )
-YourMainImageName_02_LRG.jpg ( -"- )

Did you or did you not copy those additional images in folder
images/large/yourfoldername/
and add LRG suffix ?

Well, you get addtional thumbnail images, when you name the main image like this.

• YourMainImageName.jpg ( this one is main image )
• YourMainImageName_01.jpg ( this one is additional )
• YourMainImageName_02.jpg ( this one is additional )
  and all of this images should be in the same folder.
  Example: Images/yourfoldername/
  To enable showing large images in slide show with Fual Slimbox,
  you should have the same images in folder:

images/large/yourfoldername/
-YourMainImageName_01_LRG.jpg ( additional image to show )
-YourMainImageName_02_LRG.jpg ( -"- )

Now try this ( I didn't try it so I don't know exactly if this works, but this is just an idea )

So IF you want to kill thumbnails, you delete additional images associated with your main image, but leave images in images/large/yourfoldername/
with suffix LRG.

If you use imagehandler 2 I think it will automatically make the same, but optimized images in it's cache folder.

Because I have to control my info page to 700px height. So I have to hide the normal additional images thumbs.

I have: item_LRG.jpg, item_01_LRG.jpg, item_02_LRG.jpg in the images/large folder already.
And just item.jpg in the image folder. But the lightbox didn't have next image tab shown...

Then I put item_01.jpg, item_02.jpg to the image folder too, and turn off the additional image in admin panel. The lightbox also no next tab shown.

I also try to disable the additional image in the tpl_product_info_display.php, and keep all the jpg in their folders. Still not work....:wacko:

The only way close to success is make a dummy gif image at 1x1px, name it to the related _01, _02... place them in the image folder to fool the system as this is the additional images. But there will be tons of rubbish dummy files.

If you'd like to make the popup slimbox larger than the default size, it's relatively easy to do. I don't know why this isn't parameterized.

The slimbox javascript code includes support for a rev attribute in the anchor tag of the thumbnail that specifies a relative size for the popup.

Edit /includes/modules/YOUR_THEME/addional_images.php and find the following line (it is line 95 in my version):

in the example above I have already added

 rev="width=120%, height=120%"
``` attribute. Just adjust the percentage to get the size that you want to be displayed.

You have documentation folder provided with the installation files.
There you can find the instructions for installation.
I've used those instructions and had no problems.

You might have missed somethnig.

Troubleshoot SlimBox

I have searched the forum, but cannot find a solution to my issue

I have installed the Slimbox and when I click on the image, I only get the white box to appear with a rolling symbol. Looks like its trying to load the image, but it doesn't. What am I doing wrong? Is there a certain folder I need to place the images in when I upload product image through ez pages?

Your help will be much appreciated!

i followed you instructions, but then i got stuck in the phpadmin, i have no clue what to do there. i uninstalled slimbox and lighbox many times and installed everything again and i keep on getting this error.

it took me a lot of time now, i hope somebody can give me a tip now.
this error happens both in light box and slimbox. i use zen cart 1.3.8a

I have Image Handler 2 and Tabbed Products Pro. These work.

I don't have any images in my Large or Medium image folders, just the main images that are uploaded when I create the listing. I tested with a large image in the Large folder and that is the image that opened in the same window. Could a file be missing or corrupted? I uploaded it twice, so maybe something was missing from my zip. Is there a listing of files included to double check.

I had this same problem. It looks like you need to have the LRG image file in the proper directory in order for this to work. For images that I didn't have a larger file, I just put the same thumbnail in the Large directory with the _LRG to the end of the file name. Problem resolved for me.

I tested it with an image in the Large folder with _LRG but it still opens in the same window. I turned off Fual Slimbox in configuration and the image opens in a pop up.

I don't know if this will help you, but...

To show your images, and additional images via fual slimbox, you must have next images:

1. In your images/FolderWhereYouUploadImage/

• YourImageName.jpg
• YourImageName_01.jpg ( first additional image )
• YourImageName_02.jpg ( second additional image )

2. In your images/larger/FolderWhereYouUploadImage/

• YourImageName_o1_LRG.jpg
• YourImageName_02_LRG.jpg

That works for me.

This is a slight bigger problem.
It seems that you tried twice to patch your database.

So.. you can try this:

1. Open your database in phpMyAdmin
2. Click on configuration table and browse it
3. Find all lines with configuration_key that states FUAL_SLIMBOX_* and check configuration_group_id number

All FUAL_SLIMBOX_* lines should have the same number.
( for example 36 )
Then...

4. Click on configuration_group table and browse it
5. Find line where is Fual Slimbox and see what number is in configuration_group_id.
   ( It should be 36 )
6. If differs, ( if it is 35 for example ) then you should go back to configuration table and change configuration_group_id number for all FUAL_SLIMBOX_* lines to a proper number ( this would be 35 in this example )

This should solve your problem.

Alternative solution:
You could:

1. Delete all lines in configuration with FUAL_SLIMBOX_* configuration_key and line ine configuration_group with configuration_title : Fual Slimbox.
2. Make a fresh new patch with your SQL installation file.

I'm at work so I don't know which files, but there are files that this mod and IH2 both modify, and if you install IH2 AFTER you install the Fual Lightbox, the product main image will open in a popup window versus the lightbox. The right way to do this would be to Winmerge the files used by both apps to get both add-ons working together.

However the shorter answer is this: This add-on must be installed AFTER you install IH2. Since you alreay have IH2 installed and working, if you re-upload the Fual Lightbox files you should see the main image on the product page will open using the lightbox versus the default pop-up..

I don't know if this is MUST...
I installed IH2 on two sites, after the Fual Slimbox and it seems to work fine.
