Questions about Google checkout

I'm sure I've seen this somewhere in the mega-thread on GoogleCheckout, but I can't seem to find the right posts...

1. Am I right in thinking that the client MUST create a Google account to use GoogleCheckout?

2. Does the client have to actively click the link on the Google post-payment page to return to Zencart after purchase?

3. I saw somewhere on that the merchant fulfils the order via their Google Account - is this correct? That the order info does not come back to Zencart?

4. Finally, I think I also read that Google retains all the client info that should be the Zencart owner's "property".

If anyone can confirm/deny the above, or point me at the relevant posts, I'd appreciate it.

1. Yes. Create, or use an existing Google account. The whole point, from Google's perspective, is that a customer can use a single Google account for purchases from a variety of vendors.

2. Unsure.

3. When GoogleCheckout is correctly configured in zen-cart, the order info is sent back to the seller's zen-cart and processed from within the z-c admin, the same as an order paid with a different method.

4. Google and the zen-cart seller both have customer info, except for a direct email address and any credit card info, which Google has and the z-c merchant does not have. But there is a Google generated email address that can be used by the z-c seller for communication with the customer.

I'm continuing testing v1.4.5 in sandbox mode before I turn it loose. I've already previously implemented the bug patches so the new Carrier Calculated Shipping is what I am testing. So you are ahead of me. Please let us know your ideas on v1.4.5 on the new support forum.
