COWOA Module (my update for ZC v1.3.x)

Hey, I just installed the mod a few days ago. Everything is working splendid! Thanks!

One quick issue: In my admin page home: It says:

I installed COWOA from the link on this page http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/Contribution:Integrated_Checkout_Without_Account

: DOWNLOAD COWOA for Zencart 1.3.8

I manually changed the files required for 1.3.9 Zencart and installed the other necessary files- the entire mod works perfectly.

Is that table normal?

Well, I messed this module again. I installed Fast and Easy Checkout and i had problem to install its SQL file. I thought it was COWOA problem so I tried to uninstall its SQL. Then I checked how to install FEC SQL, I did it and now COWOA is not showing when customer purchases and goes to checkout. I cannot install COWOA SQL file because I get message: 1062 duplicate entry INSERT INTO query_builder ( query_id , query_category , query_name , query_description , query_string ) VALUES ( '', 'email,newsletters', 'Permanent Account Holders Only', 'Send email only to permanent account holders ', 'select customers_email_address, customers_firstname, customers_lastname from TABLE_CUSTOMERS where COWOA_account != 1 order by customers_lastname, customers_firstname, customers_email_address');

And I cannot uninstall it as well because I get this message:
1054 Unknown column 'query_builder.query_name' in 'where clause'
in:
[DELETE FROM needlegraphyquery_builder WHERE query_builder.query_name = 'Permanent Account Holders Only' LIMIT 1;]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Please, give me advice: is missing COWOA field at the checkout caused by my playing with SQL patches? I have installed both modules in my test shop and it worked fine.
I do not know what I did wrong (except my :censored:idea to uninstall SQL, of course).

Those are defined in the file that is located here:
install/admin/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/COWOA.php
Make sure that file was copied over to your store.

Hello, I have just uninstalled FEC and I think I will stop bothering myself with it. COWOA so far is great.:smile:

I have fixed my TEXT only problem with COWOA registrants. the optional choice of hiding the HTML/TEXT only buttons were already made on the version I downloaded, but it would seem when having that option added it does not select the default HTML determined in the admin.

If anyone has the knowlege to implement the hide and to have HTML as default I would be interested to hear it.

Sorry for the delays in answering, but I was in the process of moving this last week.

If you want to give the COWOA Customer the ability to choose HTML or TEXT messages, here is what you will need to do.

In the file includes/modules/no_account.php add this line that is in RED

  $process = false;
  $zone_name = '';
  $entry_state_has_zones = '';
  $error_state_input = false;
  $state = '';
  $zone_id = 0;
  $error = false;
  $email_format = (ACCOUNT_EMAIL_PREFERENCE == '1' ? 'HTML' : 'TEXT');

Now add the following in includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_no_account.php

<legend><?php echo ENTRY_EMAIL_PREFERENCE; ?></legend>

Add the above after the ENTRY FAX NUMBER code. This file may also be in YOUR_TEMPLATE templates folder too.

This will give your COWOA customers the ability to choose HTML or TEXT Email messages for the order_status email.

FEC can be tricky, you really have to follow the instructions and test it after installing it.

Version 2.0 of COWOA has been uploaded to the Zen Cart site.

Here are the new features:

Your COWOA Customer that has a Cart with a 0 Balance will now only have to enter an E-Mail Address during the checkout process. This is useful for file downloads that have NO Cost. If they add an item with a cost to it, then they will still get the normal checkout screen.This feature can be turned on or off in the configuration screen. Update from Version 1.9 instructions included in install.txt file.
Also added the ability for the COWOA Customer to choose HTML or Text E-Mail.

As always, it is also available on My Mods Site.

Just removed FEC and installed COWOA, it worked great. I was having lots of problems with FEC.

Sorry, I was experimenting with the code and completely messed it so I had to remove it.... The main problem was that Firefox was ignoring the "Legend" tag "width:47%" that I specified in the CSS. I have searched around the internet and found that this is the bug in Firefox. Can you plz suggest a fix ?

Firefox was not showing the 2 legend sign up boxes in a same row.
I even reduced the width of the 1st legend box to 30%, but still Firefox won't show both boxes in same row.

It was coming perfect in Google Chrome though.

Plz see the attached screenshot for details.

Hello, again!

After upgrading to 139f I am having some problems: when customer doesn't log off, another customer cannot log in. So my question is: could it be related to upgrading? Is there any way to make automatic log off when customers using COWOA leaves the page?
And another question: I want uninstall Update COWOA 2SQL file. Do I have to uninstall all SQL files and then install againwithout updated COWOA? I do not want to mess my shop up more than it is already messed:cry:
